Hello guys! I have been away about four days now and I missed everyone of my friends here. I didn't really miss steemit for I always went back to my gallery just to stare at the logo. Fantastic way not to miss the community right? hahaha.

Well I might not be fully active for the next few days as I am having some health challenges at the moment. Don't worry it is minor. So hey! I have been queried by someone as why I have not dropped the second part of "Writing Tips" as promised. Here is it guys. Now everything written here are based on my reality, personal experience since I started writing here on, and I do not intend to impose my reality on anyone.

On the first part of this work I briefly discussed Writer's block, Particularly it's definition. I will also talk about how to do away with it and I mean crush it forever. The steps are actually suggestions that I have tried and I have seen how it beautifully works.

Excerpts from Part 1

Writer's block is a condition in which a skilled writer with the desire to write finds herself unable to write.

Do not Worry!
It is a normal phenomenon, even to every successful writer you know. There is always that moment writers find it difficult to write something new or proceed with a project yet to be completed. It is known as WRITER'S BLOCK

Do writer's block really exist?

After you read a lot of articles on this, you tend to answer the question with a nod. Especially having experienced times where writing seem impossible and following all they tell you about having a block. Now check this out. Why don't we get to hear of engineer's block? Only a few professions require the honesty and self-reflection that writing does. Writers spin life experiences into beautiful prose for public consumption. If others in less creative careers do not experience blocks like we do, I think It does not exist. It can only be in our heads,Only excuses and nothing other than that.

How does writer's block come about?

What really causes these excuses we call writer's block based on my reality are fear, exhaustion ,high standards which is basically fear of failure, fear of being rejected, perfectionism which is that fear of not being good enough, busyness-where I fear I don't have enough time, Laziness and Lack of structure-not knowing how to start.

Basically FEAR is the often times the reason I find it difficult to write when I should.

How can one overcome writer's block?

When I first discovered there is such term as writer's block, I thought to myself there must be ways to do away with it and I must find these ways. I turned to the internet and behold I saw so many articles on over coming this "unseen forces" that hinders my projects. Actually, YOU are those unseen forces! I almost failed to realize that. So I tried a few tips I got from the net. Many of which included; Going for a walk,Doing something to get your blood flowing like running and playing, changing of environment, reading a book, listening to music-classical or jazz to mix it up, reading some inspiring quotes to get you started etc.
All brilliant Ideas that works a lot for a lot of people. You may try those sometime.

However, like I stated earlier, Fear in my own case is the reason I slack a lot of times when I should put down a project. That Fear is the demon in me. And I also figured how to fight back is simple.

Just start writing. Along the line the Muse will be summoned

You already knew this but you have been avoiding it because you are the unseen forces fighting against you. See, the best way to overcome being blocked is not to wait for whenever you will feel inspired, neither is it by watching TV. Do not wallow in self-pity. Just start somewhere, anywhere. It does not have to be eloquent or presentable, it just needs to be written. So write anything, needless of waiting to use fancy announcements.

Write for the joy of it. Like you cannot not write. No excuses or justifications.

You can write. So why make it harder than it should be? Just put down a few words so you may have something to work with, then tweaking can come in. Remember it must not be very good; every first drafts suck.

If you do this, you’ll get past the hump. I promise. The difference between professional writers and amateurs is this: Both encounter blocks, but one pushes through while the other gets paralyzed.

How do you do away with writer's block? Please share your ideas on the comment section. It may help others too.

Steven King says something along the lines of 'you go to the typewriter and find the muse.'

My favorite quote though on the subject is from Louis L'Amore: “Start writing, no matter what. The water does not flow until the faucet is turned on.”

To be candid, you made a lot of good points in this article. Thank you for sharing this great article. Keep steeming.

Thanks for sharing. Now I'm going to try to write my first post of the day

I am fortunate in that regard because in my genre which is poetry, I fight so hard to ward off words which assail my thoughts at every given time. If ever I did experience writer's block, it is only for the briefest of time.
