My First Purchase with My Shift Card!!


So - this is totally amazing!!!  A little over a week ago, I decided to get a Shift Card, which is a debit card that can be connected to your Coinbase account.  It cost $10 worth of my Bitcoin to get it.  It just came in the mail a couple days ago.  

Well, today, I got the Shift Card app onto my iphone and activated my card.  To celebrate and to test it out, I decided to go to my favorite coffee shop and get a coffee.

I got a "Con Panna" with hemp milk and honey in it.  A Con Panna is a type of drink at Rogue Roasters that has dark chocolate shavings over the top, and I usually get it with honey & hemp milk.  It's been my favorite drink here for the past few months.  And, today - I paid for it with Bitcoin that I had originally earned here on Steemit!!! This is incredible!!  After struggling as an artist- trying to sell my art on greeting cards, and not really earning more than $20-$150 per month (depending on the month), this is really awesome!  I'm not making enough on Steemit to live off of - yet.  But, this is definitely another stream of income that will help me fund my other Greeting Card business.  Often I don't have enough extra $ to purchase more greeting cards from the printer.  So, I am so excited about this!!!

Idea/Art/Blog post > Steemit > Earned SBD & Steem Power/Steem > Transfer to Poloniex or Bittrex > Exchange for Bitcoin > Transfer to Coinbase Wallet > Spend with Shift Card

I think that may be why so many people are skeptical of Steemit - "How/Why could you earn REAL money from just blogging?"  "There must be a catch..."

Nope.  No catch.  It's just that we have been programmed to believe that there are only certain ways to earn money.

Not anymore.  Now you can be rewarded for just being your own authentic self!  Pass it on!

      the fastest and easiest transaction is with the card there is very valuable to me
