Thank you for this explanation! Definitely takes the mystery out of self-voting. I was unsure whether or not it was a good idea but your article clears things up nicely.

Downvoting a post can decrease pending rewards and make it less visible. Common reasons:

  • Disagreement on rewards
  • Fraud or plagiarism
  • Hate speech or trolling
  • Miscategorized content or spam
