Why the FLAG are a big failure of Steemits?

There are 3 outcomes of any post in Steemit:

  1. The post gets upvote;
  2. Post gets downvote;
  3. No one notices your post.

2 and 3 are slightly similar, if no one notices and puts upvote (you do not get anything), then this can be considered a punishment for bad content, and the second option is more similar to when the government (power / steempower / rating -- Does this mean anything to you?) Begins to punish the objectionable, depriving all honors and awards with the ultimate sending to prison. And, it can be done by one person!

I have never seen that with a small amount of strength (albeit with a smaller voice, but with more truth), he was able to stand up against someone with a lot of power. It's all just bad.

This is a real hierarchy of power! Despotism!

Pyramid, as a symbol of despotism. You are below and you can not do anything.

Bad content (plagiarism), fraud and other bad deeds, can detect with the help of a bot, anti-fraud, anomaly detection system (I forgot its name, but the principle is based on anomaly statistics, which is very effective in combating fraud)

I believe that downvote should be less severe and reduce to making it the center of complaints and on this basis (bot), having identified a large number of complaints on one post,must come to the conclusion that the post should be deprived of all awards and be punished. This is the only way to reach a just decision!

Thank you for attention!

  1. Пост получает upvote;
  2. Пост получает downvote;

you are new user?! How you can see my little post?

I have made the suggestion that downvoting should only be allowed once a user reaches a specific reputation. That way you cannot "buy" your way to the ability to downvote and you have shown the community that you responsibly curate.

And with what reputation do you think that downvote it is normal?

I would say a minimum of 50. It took me a month of consistent quality work to reach that reputation.

This kind of solution would also help prevent flag wars, as people who's reputation drops below 50 would no longer be able to troll downvotes.

As it stands, Steem Power alone determines the weight of a downvote. If flagging was disabled for reputations of less than 50 and the weight of a downvote was calculated on reputation instead of Steem Power, only people who contribute value to the community (decided by the community) could flag posts or "sink" a person's reputation.

More often people who have a rating in the range of 50-66 and overpriced self-confidence, dare to enjoy or trolling a downvote.

I will stay with my opinion: People should have a partial character to this, as the first detection is "tumor", and then let the bots and the system make decisions.

There is no system other than the users and our decisions. What would prevent someone from just creating flag bots to downvote everything but their own content?

Block him, improve security and the best option to remove the flag - permanently.

Open source code is a big project problem, although it was said that this contributes to the growth of popularity (I do not see popularity).

In general, the project is not finalized, they it can change something for the better!
