I want to make a dollar a day and plan to post 7300 posts over the next 20 years to prove it.

Over the next few years I plan to write a lot for steem. 7300 posts to be exact.

Thats roughly one a day for 20 years.

I manage to write about 2 or articles a day for clients and always end my day with an article for myself, mainly to practice but also to improve my writing by studying what I have done previously.

As a writer it also helps having some back up content for that rainy day that you just not feeling up to it or have writers block. So on those days I will post some things I have saved up over time but never published online.

So why a dollar a day?

In india most live on a dollar a day. 7300 Dollars will be enough to take a really nice vacation or help my kids go to school one day.

Well I figure the amount of content on steem that makes any #money at all are either great introduction posts (Whales want to keep good writers here and so incentivise this) or they prove themselves as great content creators.

I plan to do just that and add value daily, every day, for the long term.

And if you don't make a cent in the next 100 articles?

Well I have already made $150 so thats enough to do another 147 posts without earning a cent to still stay on track to reaching my goal. :)

Wow! I love your dedication. I was once in your shoes and steemit changed my life.

My brother lives in Mexico for a few months per year. He's told me that a large number of people live on less than 2 dollars per day. He's witnessed young boys carrying buckets of cement mix up stairs for 12 twelve hour shifts. Sometimes we forget how good we got it.

Yes but the style of living is very different in 3rd world countries. To live on a dollar or less a day I find families have to rely on each other more so that cooking a meal of rice and small fish or chapati with meat stew goes much further. In the west I find people are much more independant I find and may not think to stretch the budgets this way.

Awesome. Hope we can get to a dollar a day on here together. I make a fair bit more writing elsewhere but it is all amazon reviews and things like that so my biggest obstacle will be breaking out of that and writing about things I enjoy and not something a magazine or blog would buy or pay me for.
