Does It Really Matter How People Make Money on Steemit?

Anyone who sticks around long enough becomes immune to the recurring cycle of whiners. They leave or stay and stop whining.

It's not fair that people can profit off ''magick internet money'' that came out of nothing; it's amazing.

Everything's legal so long as you don't get caught or --worse-- regulated.

Glad to see your blog is doing well.

thank you man. Well, you have been here since the beginning. you know what i've been through :)

grit pays off after all

You clearly have never been mugged. I do not say that people shouldn't make money. I do say that money isn't everything.

If Steemit isn't more than money, the market will value it accordingly. There's already plenty of cryptos. Steemit, in order to compete, and add value to Steem, should be configured to best advantage as the market grows. It IS the market for ad free paid to post platforms presently, but that is certain to not always be the case.

It also remains possible that bad governance may succeed in eliminating free speech globally. There are certainly attempts being made to effect that end, and many who would profit by controlling speech, particularly as it refers to governance.

It would be a shame were Steemit to fail to rise above those challenges.
