I have read several post over the past couple days where you can tell that people are trying to figure steemit out and may be getting frustrated. I completely understand, being fairly new to steemit myself. Not all of my post have been good, not all of my post have even paid and I havent even had one over $10.00 yet, but I will one day.
I follow alot of people with high reps, and I have asked question and compared where I am at two weeks versus where they where at 2 weeks.
They tell the same stories that us newbies are telling now. So they where once in the same postion as we are. Here is the only advice that I can share.
STAY FOCUSED
STAY POSITIVE
STAY TRUE
STAY HAPPY
PROMOTE THE PLATFORM
I do not have all the answers and still do not even know where to find the answers. Guess what, I will learn as I go along.
Not that it even matters to me but so far I think my wallet is up to $17 and some change, but thats not the only reason why I am here. I truly believe that steemit will be the next big social platform. Dont you just wanna be apart of that. Cause that is what make me happy. Watching it grow and growing with it.
You owe it to yourself to make this work, it wont always be easy and you are gonna get frustrated but stay focus and it will work out.

I believe resteeming plays a big part to. I mean if you had 16 upvotes and they all resteemed it look at how many faces your in front of now.

Appears that you need to build up a following in order to get the exposure for new posts as new posts tend to drop off the radar within 30 mins if they are not trending. Personally I am enjoying commenting on others posts and not getting too discouraged when my own posts receive little attention at the moment.
