Asslam o Alikum[May you live in peace],

according to https://whatis.techtarget.com/definition/public-domain
"Public domain is a designation for content that is not protected by any copyright law or other restriction and may be freely copied, shared, altered and republished by anyone. The designation means, essentially, that the content belongs to the community at large".

according to http://www.dictionary.com/browse/public-domain
the status of a literary work or an invention whose copyright or patent has expired or that never had such protection.

I posted some "public domain" poems and stories on "Steemit" and the great cheeta bot flagged me. Than I contacted disputes on Discord and asked them about it.

The answer was

""@Razi1989 Hi, Public domain does not give you the right to monetise from this content. Giving the source doesn't change the fact that it is nothing more but copypasta with ZERO original content added to it.""

I totaly disagree with

"Public domain does not give you the right to monetise from this content"

You cannot define "public domain " as you like. when a work comes into "public domain" it means you can do any thing with
it. You can make films, use poetry in music, use music composition, use pictures, etc.

agree disagree what do you think about it?
