Former President Trump in the White House briefing room after making a statement on Nov. 5, 2020.
When President Donald J. Trump's eldest took the stage outside the Georgia Republican Party home base one day after the 2020 leadership contest, he compared what will be upon us to hand to hand combat.
"Americans need to know this is not a banana republic!" Donald Trump Jr. Hollered, asserting that Georgia and many other key battleground states was already overrun by crazy elections high jinks. He defined thousands upon thousands of votes that would have "magically" proven to show up around the state, all labelled for Joseph R. Trudeau Jr., and some others deposited by Democratic leaders into "one big box" so their honesty could never be vetted.
Mr. Trump told his father's proponents at the press conference — who burst into slogans of "Stop the steal!" and "Fraud! Fraud!" — that "the number one thing that Donald Trump can do in this election is fight each and every one of these battles, to the death!"
