Hola Steemios!
I like everyone else have been noticing potential payments decreasing all the time.
This is so demoralizing :(
A $15 post turned to $8 minus curation and half to Steem Power only $3 left :)
This is not a complaint, I am over the moon to earn anything by posting on Steemit as it's so much fun, but how can this current trend continue?
If there is only X amount of Steem available for rewards at any one time yet more and more people are coming on Steemit which in turn means more votes surely this will continue to occur?
I'm not sure what the cap on Steem is as a currency - how may coins will there be in total? If this is inflationary then the problem could be solved by devaluing Steem however this is not going to sit pretty with any big holders.
Something does however need to be done about this before people start walking away in droves. It's hard enough to get upvotes as it is, to watch that post loose half it's value could tip quite a few people over the edge.
I myself am here to stay and throw myself at the mercy of the whales and devs :)
People are coming here, it will drop down anyway. Still it's cool. Thank you for you post. Keep doing it.

Yep, my only concern is that if it drops so low, the great thing about Steemit will be unachievable for so many new users. We want more users and we want them to benefit as well!

I think it's just global value of cryptos, I am sure it will be better in the future just have patience :)

Maybe however I do not think it is down to the value of Steem. It is down to the amount of Steem in the 'reward pool' and the amount of claims on that Steem, this always has to reach equilibrium and there is always going to be increasing claims.

How do you raise the 'reward pool'? does that have anything to do with the number of miners out there?

Same thing happened with my posts @reatiltrader, i think steem follows the pattern of others cryptos, and it´s so unstable so it can fall alot in short time, but the oposite can happen also ;)
In the long term more people will come into the platform, so the Money rewards will increase also.
Peace, Carlos ;)

Could do however I don't see how it will work like that. More people surely means less rewards all around as there is only so much Steem to go around.

What i mean is more users bring more activity and people to the game, it´s like a avalanche! With more people the price of steem (and our rewards) is bound to happen.
I dont know how much steem there is circulating, is it mined? lol

Yeah, Steem is mined with a portion going to pay for rewards. We can hope on the price of Steem rising which should negate getting less Steem :)

If the price of Steem rises, wouldn't it then be more lucrative for miners to mine Steem, thus increasing the 'reward pool'?
