I just recently passed the one month mark here on Steemit!

I must say that I am hooked.

I absolutely loathe taking pictures...But you all deserve the verification that I am real and this is my art.

This platform has really encouraged me to branch out. I am now putting my art out there in the open for people to see (something I never thought that I would do), and I am getting positive feedback from people other than my family and friends! Yeah, I know, positive feedback is positive feedback...but when it comes from a relative or friend, their opinions can be a bit more biased than the people of the world that have zero emotional attachment to you. You know what I mean?

I just want to take this moment to thank all of you guys and girls for your help and encouragement during this first month! You all have been a huge help and incredibly welcoming. I truly appreciate every comment, every follow, every upvote and most importantly every friendship! 

I love seeing a platform that really focuses on original content, whether it is art, writing, blogging, recipes or how-to's. It is very exciting and I look forward to watching this community grow! No longer will there be "starving artists and writers". Here on Steemit we all have an equal opportunity if we are willing to work for it.
