I have been on Steemit for 20 days and was really excited to have got a platform which allowed me to express myself while building a dedicated follower base and also a chance to make some money. I have been pretty hooked to it.
By the way - I should let you know a little about myself. I am a married man with a 3 month old daughter and in a full time employment. So I do not get a lot of me time. However of late of of it was going to Steemit.
Now, to the new development. I have been exploring the other features of the steam platform like the Steem powered Video and Audio platforms. Then i found Dmania - the meme platform. It was almost love at first sight. I immediately got hooked. I always used to take pride in making comments in social circle with impeccable timing.
Since I discovered Dmania, I have been so engaged in creating memes and doing research on what's trending and how to get more likes that I barely get time to compose nice , well researched posts that i was doing post Dmania.
My request to Steemit - Give me some time . Let this new relationship settle down. I will always come back to you.
Let me know if some of you had similar experiences with other steem platforms which started eating up your steemit time.
