I paid off a $1000 off an old debt yesterday with the proceeds. I never made that kind of money with money making opportunity before.

I paid a fee but for consolation I consider them Canadian Steem Dollars ;-)

I regret not getting involved sooner, but I'm happy I'm here now. My plan going forward is to keep using the site on a regular basis and keep putting the majority of my earnings into Steem Power. I don't expect I'll ever have front-page popularity for my blogs, but over time I think it will be very worthwhile.

Thanks for this. I am new here but was starting to realize how legit it seemed. The first time I saw it a few weeks ago I refrained from signing up due to skepticism. Then a friend told me about her experience and I was in the mood to blog anyways, so I hopped on and am already addicted and leaning toward believing it's totally legit. This helped sway me more. :)

I approached it as, "let's give it a shot. NO EXPECTATIONS. just write for writing's sake, playing the game. if the rewards happen, cool. if not, nothing lost - lessons gained."

even though the payouts are legit, I'm still not convinced for the long-term, as time will tell whether enough people invest their belief in contributing to the vision. if too many people pulled all their money out and not enough investment came in, the whole thing could crash. but nonetheless, I'm sticking it out - with no expectations - simply playing the game for the development process - contributing in the ways I can, because I do feel it is a worthy cause.

if it crashes - in the end, we've gained experience, wisdom, and relationships grown. if it succeeds... :-)
