THE RICH vs THE POOR IN THE SOCIETY; A PRACTICAL REFLECTION ON STEEMIT

It is now a way of life in the society, the relationship between the rich and the poor as a marriage of inconvenience. Here in steemit, the case is also the same but not entirely. Pls allow me to explain...

THE RICH AND POOR IN THE SOCIETY

There is a trend and a saying that goes like this, "no matter what the poor do, no matter his efforts, the rich will never give up in trying to stay above them." This saying may not be absolutely applicable but to some extent, it is.
The poor's activities and growth are governed and influenced by the reputation he can afford — quality schools determines in part the academic growth of a kid and when a poor man cannot afford it for his kid, it influences the kid's academic life, quality and luxurious life gives comfortability that a poor man cannot afford — i can go on and on to cite instances but that will not proffer any solution to this ugly trend.

THE WHALES AND MINNOWS ON STEEMIT

I read a post by @tkembo on 'The difference between a Minnow, Dolphin and Whale' and the following comments under it. I came across a user @papa-pepper that has a reputation of over 70 calling himself a big minnow, it was hillarious for me, who still battles with a reputation of 29. Maybe i have not been inducted yet into the Fish family, LOL.
Here beneath is a screen grab of papa-pepper's comment and my reply

HARD WORK DESERVES APPRECIATION

As a whale, the power of your vote can make a big difference for a minnow, YES IT CAN AND YOU KNOW IT. So why ignore quality content write-ups that deserves your appreciation?

Steemit has made it that you can occasionally see posts on your blog when you visit your Feeds, not just every post but the one's from people you follow. Why are you not following that minnow, to see if his articles are good enough to earn your votes?

I cannot stop commending and promoting @karensuestudios initiative recently, of gifting out 3,500SD to minnows based on their creativity. She has earned my respect for that. I don't know her in person but i know she is kind.

You that is a whale or dolphin, don't always be found on a fellow whale's blog post. Sometimes, try bending down to encourage the newbies with your votes and comments. Take time to read through their write-ups and appreciate their little efforts... IT WILL MAKE THEM TO WORK HARDER AND GROW.
Remember You can never deserve to be called great, if you have not made another great

TO MY FELLOW MINNOWS, I HAVE THIS TO TELL YOU

You see that Whale that always count many votes on each of his blog post, do not forget he too started as a minnow. If he got discouraged and quitted, he wouldn't be where he is today, so NEVER BE DISCOURAGED!

Let their success be a source of your motivation. Today, it may be less than 5 votes and $2 on each of your post but with hard work and commitment, you will be there. Do not jettison from something great because of today's poor result, rather be encouraged with tomorrow's grand success.

Even life itself is never fair...
