I do not know the details of how or why, but all my resteemed posts from @elfspice about #calibrae project has been hidden on my profile page.
This means that some one or some group flagged all these posts that I resteemed.
So I went to https://steemit.com/@elfspice to look for myself and sure enough most of his posts were flagged and hidden.
Over 30 posts (I stopped counting - this actually gives me a headache) so page after page of posts are flagged.
Then I looked at the steemd.com reports and found
nogalert and thejohalfiles flagged some posts maybe others are involved, I don't know.
Then I looked at the tag search and found this flag feature also hides the posts from the trend tags, or whatever steemit calls it when you click: https://steemit.com/trending/calibrae
and
https://steemit.com/created/calibrae
I am surprised to see this and ask why is this happening?
Is this Whale abuse?
What is going on?
Is it bitterness or something more?
What ever it is, it is on steemit and I noticed it today, 10 Aug 2017 approximately 10AM EST.
I have a stress headache, and logging out.
Maybe that was the destruction of the Calibrae project
the 3 accounts:
Are all flagged ...
Did Loki throw in the towel and surrender?
I am off steemit for the rest of today.
When I return I hope senior steemians and others will have posted some explanation and caution for all steemit users.
From my perspective this is a steemit wound.

L0k1 is being flagged by @berniesanders and others, due to his saltiness about Steemit. When you resteem his posts, you draw flags because they are silencing his dissent, and because they reckon he is trying to suck users out of Steemit to Calibrae.
I think @nogalert is @berniesanders, who also has a longstanding issue with @n0gan0o (sp?), and there are others involved. I think I saw a flag from @sneak too, IIRC.
Last I knew he was focusing on coding Calibrae, and avoiding social media so he can get work done. I am sure he is quite motivated to continue the work he is doing on the fork.

Hi @valued-customer Ha-ha, yes Loki use salty language and is passionate about his cause.
I forgot to mention @sneak because he also flagged a loki post, but about @berniesanders and the many oter alias' that are from steemit pre-miners and whale accounts I know nothing...
Which is why I ask seasoned steemians to share facts about what is happening and why.
Before I even knew about the existence of Calibrae and the steemit fork, I noted and wrote the OPEN LETTER to Ned Scott and others about the "potential" abuse of Flagging.
Their silence spoke volumes, thn I begged a few programmers to comment in hopes I would get their point of view and two seasoned steemians were kind enough to reply,
see Open Letter To Steem and EOS Programmers and Application developers and the comments.
Anyway fast forward to yesterday:
So I am guessing Loki threw in the towel - for sure his last steemit posts were very angry with foul-language tags.
Loki hasn't posted a reason on his github calibrae project account, the github commentary would be the definitive response from Loki - I'm still waiting...
My questions remain unanswered and I want Whales and Loki to share what they know:
Why the whales are doing this and is this the end of the calibrae steemit fork?

For those who were concerned (as I was), Loki wrote me a message, where he said:
Yes, that was brief and cryptic, but I gatherLoki is okay and in the real world he is active.
Where that leaves Calibrae and the steemit fork?
I don't know.

I personally viewed L0k1 state he was going into 'code mode' for the duration, several days at least.
I am confident he continues to code.
I cannot predict what will come of Calibrae, but I believe L0k1 is all in, and running on pure fury. Ninja assassins might be able to stop him. Might.
He stated he was going to avoid social media, because it distracts him. Keep checking the github, and I'm sure you'll soon see some kind of progress report.
Caveat: I am not l0k1, don't speak for him, am not responsible for what he is, or is not doing, and can only state my expectations about what he is doing, which is coding with all 20 digits at this very moment.
Edit: given his level of motivation, he may be using 21 digits...

@valued-customer I appreciate your optimism, but this looks very bad for the Calibrae project.

I am not optimistic at all. I am, however, privy to the exact statements I relate.
I do not expect to hear from him for days, because he is coding furiously.
Whether the Calibrae project looks bad or not, as far as I can tell, he is doing exactly what he said he would, and the lack of posts is evidence of that - not that he has given up.
He has received funding for the project, other developers are assisting, and much else is ongoing while he is writing code. Or, at least that's what I have read in conversations with funders, developers, and @l0k1 himself.
I'm merely reporting on what I saw, without a great deal of exaggeration.
L0k1 is salty, as you know, and he is probably emotionally unstable, but I do not doubt he can write code, nor that he is highly motivated to accomplish Calibrae. YMMV.
We'll know in a few days, at most.

@valued-customer Thanks that is good to hear, all of this is new to me.
Again, thank you!

Social media is indeed distracting him LOL.
He has posted on Reddit, and been accused of exactly emotional instability. Here is a snippet of his response
I heartily LOL'ed at this XD

that's weird?! I thought nogbot was after noganoo... how is this related to l0ki and calibrae?!

Hi @fraenk This is bad, it is worse than weird, it is an open steemit wound imo - I'm back after leaving steemit for the day (over 8 hours) because it gave me a stress headache.
My wife asked me about this and now she applied for steemit acct - ha-ha

oops I forgot to answer your question, that is what happens to me when I get over-stressed out.
You asked:
Loki stated his wish to fork steemit.
Loki started the Calibrae project.
I supported his stated goals to improve steemit with his Calibrae project
I joined him on Github with his Calibrae project.
I resteemed 3 Loki posts about Calibrae
I noted all my resteemed calibrae were flagged and hiddened.
I noted the flaggers (whales) flagged most of Loki's posts on all 3 alias steemit accounts
I noted Loki's anger (justifiable?)
Loki has stopped steemit post for over 24 hours (unusual), and Loki also has stopped Github calibrae repository posts (absolutely unusual for Loki!)!!
So I am guessing Loki threw in the towel - for sure his last steemit posts were very angry with foul-language tags. Loki hasn't posted a reason on his github calibrae project account, the github commentary would be the definitive response from Loki - I'm still waiting.
I hope that answers your question.
My questions remain unanswered and I want Whales and Loki to share what they know:
Why the whales are doing this and is this the end of the calibrae steemit fork?
I am uncertain if Loki in okay or will pursue legal remedy - what is the status of Loki and Calibrae project is unknown.

all this drama man... sigh
it doesn't really answer my questions, i guess they are the same as your unanswered ones?
in the end, that's just silly humans being silly humans...

@nogalert is a bot used by @berniesanders, @nextgencrypto, @randowhale (all the same person(s)), and @l0k1 apparently set them off. Since they have the flagbot handy, I reckon they just used it.

Hi @fraenk I'm glad @valued-customer stopped by to reply, his exp. and comments calmed me down, we will see how this unfolds in the weeks ahead.
Thank you both for replying 👍

I thought nogalert was created by ausbitbank in the recent fiasco?!
that shit is developing too fast for me to actually stay on top of what's going on... meh!

You could be right. @ausbitbank however, did express interest in Calibrae, at least in one or two comments I saw.
I actually am not trying to find these things out, but in my interest in VP, and how it is impacted by SP, and the follow on effects of THAT, stuff pops up.
I may have confused ownership of the bot. If I did, I am very sorry for providing misinformation.
However, I did think the bot was ascribed by @noganoo to @berniesanders.

man, who can see through all that mess anymore... lol
but yeah, I also saw ausbit utter some genuine interest in the project, that's why this is ever so more confusing!

Search tag waronspam. Paying people to resteem your posts is viewed as spamming people. And it is frowned upon by some.

I have resteemed posts of his in the past, and no one can credibly accuse me of accepting any payment, in any form, for doing so.
Some are angry, or otherwise bothered by @l0k1, and suppressing what he has to say, including, apparently, @ronmamita's resteems.
I don't care if they do it to me. I have never spent a satoshi of Steem, and have no intentions of doing so for the foreseeable future. I have never used a bot to get an upvote, because I don't care at all for the opinions of bots, nor whether it pays to get upvotes.
I highly doubt @l0k1 pays anyone to resteem his posts, but neither do I care. For the very same reason, I do not care that people pay @randowhale to upvote their posts. Frankly, I see paid resteeming as merely promotion, and not purchasing votes outright.
I find that far more wholesome, because it leaves actual votes to actual humans, who actually matter to me. Unlike money, and unlike bots.

@coolbowser this has nothing to do with paying for resteem.
Loki didn't pay me to resteem his 3 posts - heck the guy didn't even ask me to resteem any of his posts.
I resteemed Loki's posts because I found the information valuable and shared it so others would know about this.
Indeed the followers I discussed this with didn't know about this - so that in itself justified my reason for resteeming.
Thanks @valued-customer - and you are correct Loki didn't pay nor ask me to resteem. thanks for replying:
"I have never spent a satoshi of Steem, and have no intentions of doing so for the foreseeable future."
I haven't made a dime from steemit, the wallet feature is something I still have to learn how to use.
So far I put everything in the wallet back into SP. Where the assets in the wallet goes from here I will wait and find out.
