I haven't posted anything lately because I've been having trouble uploading pictures to Steemimg so that I can post them. I go to the site and press "start uploading". After scrolling through multiple programs it stops and just sits there. I can't do anything else. Has any one else had this problem? If so what did you do to fix it?

I was advised that I need to use steemimg.com in order to edit my thumbnails after posting to d.tube. it seems like a lot of people have this problem, and it needs resolving.

I read that I need to use steemimg.com to upload an updated d.tube thumbnail as nothing else seems to work. It's strange nothing is working out.

I've been just dragging and dropping my sized images into my post when I write it on Steemit. It uploads and works fine, putting the picture where the cursor is located in the text. I use html to add descriptions to the pictures and word wrap them to look nicer sometimes.
I'm not sure what is up with Steemimg I haven't had it work for awhile.

Thank you. I'm not very computer literate but I am aware of resizing the pictures to fit on Steemit. That was why I was using Steemimg; to size the pictures. I was also told I could resize through Facebook but haven't figured that one out yet. Also I'm not familiar with how to "drag" pictures from My computer to steemit. As I've told many of my friends, I'm a one button kind of guy. Going through multiple steps drives me insane. :-D

There is definitely a learning curve to some of this stuff. Steemit does a good job with mulitiple size images but I like to get them sized nicely to save a bit of space. Most of my images don't really need to be viewed full size.
GIMP is a free software package you can use to resize and adjust your pictures too and it is fun to mess around with for special effects. There is a "save for web" plug-in that you can add to it that makes it really easy to get the images just the size you want.
Dragging a picture from a file manager to the Steemit post is pretty easy to do once you have done it. There might be other ways to do it too but I'm not sure.
