sssh ... they'll say you're a commie and the stasi will come get you .. .pretty much true but it's alsto pretty much true part lies with "the community" which isn't as much a community as the outer layer would lead one to believe. First mission of steemit, as they are in a financial market here, is money to survive, or they can't provide the service, second is making sure it's attractive enough so people CAN MAKE MONEY FROM IT , or else change the frontpage to "post content, get downvoted by steemcleaners if you dont follow the rules set by five people three years ago" and while you're at it "buy steem so the fortune 50 can dump it in the name of 'expenses' ... i <3 STEEMCHAIN ... but they seem to have this idea that "the masses will save them ... i thnk that's a bit off, there's a core of people and there's the usual 10 to 1% making about 99% of the money, so they get the responsibility to make sure they hand out tasks so the rest can make a buck, but sometimes competition leads to choking new projects in the cradle too.
IF you expect the bulk of your 1 million accounts to suddenly twist their life so the company can make more ? THAT doesnt look right ... if i buy 50 euros worth of steem a month(which for my budget is a lot) and i see it decline every time it gets to 40 cents, i can imagine other, less interested or motivated people wont
it's the big ones and the company who whill have to do most of the moneymaking and its the masses who provide the bulk ... the censorship is a huge problem imo but be real ... the rich won't hand it all away , that's just not happening, but at the moment they're eating their own foundation and expect a sea of plankton to fix that for them ...
not happening
i shouldnt talk when im this tired and just saw a "featured" post on steemnazis ...
but i guess i did ...
People have to bring value to it, its a hyperinflated token, if you dont get continuous bottom input there's no other way but down that's possible BUT that doesnt mean one-sided, anyone who's able can bring value, or try, but the company and the fortune 50 have the clout, in times like these competing to dominate is detrimental to the whole , i try to bring value trying to develop a game that requires steem, because that's something i can do, even at bumlevel with a few old pc's . But plenty of self-proclaimed 'investors' here just sit around waiting on a pile of steem, but not actively trying to erect or develop OR support projects ... how will steem grow if you sit on it ?
like and egg to a chicken maybe ? money's gotta move, man, money is incentive and I for one don't have it, so i can't sponsor shit ...
miser delegation could ...
insted of wrecking, be maecenas ... doesnt mean handout, you get the delegation system, you can support people with a startup boost, and withdraw the moment they no longer show dedication BUT DO KEEP IN MIND, rich fuckers ... lots of Cryptonites have this thing for independence and freedom ... if you expect them to kiss the bishop's ring and pay tribute to the lord it might not go as well as you might want it to ...
cryptonite millionnaires live in treehuts lol ... among other things ... satoshi himself just fucked off after giving like the next invetion since running water ... that should tell something
gods its 6am and here i sit talking , wasting time on something that gets me nothing
and ofcourse :
the usual :p
people with clout can energize and give incentive, even they have nothing but money for talent, people with talent can create and the company ?
well they need to grow , outward, and consolidate in time before moving further, and the fortune 50 ?
hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
no comment , heh ... there's a few i could laud but its a jealous competitive psychopath bunch
as always at that level
gud , nite nite :)
steem wont grow by sitting on it, the masses wont save you, entrepreneurs and REAL investors who put their clout where their mouth is
no risk = nothing to gain
