Giving Away All My Steem Dollars For The Next Week

PAY IT FORWARD.jpg

I first joined up after @brianphobos and @vogeltron1 both mentioned this site to me on Youtube. Been on about two weeks and loving every minute of it.

Sometime in my first couple days on the platform @brianphobos as well as @bottymcbotface both sent me some Steem and said welcome to the platform. It got me super excited and made me feel really good. If you've ever had someone in front of you at a coffee shop buy your morning coffee as a "pay it forward" kinda thing you probably know the feeling.

I think this type of thing is not only great for the platform itself, I think it can also be somewhat self serving in a good way.

As far as furthering the platform I think we see that many minnows can get a little sadenned that their content doesn't get the attention they wish it would and that maybe they aren't making money like they heard they would. I think people can feel disenchanted like I'm putting all this time and pouring my heart out into a post and nobody is even looking at it.

I think by doing this, giving away Steem, it gets people excited about the platform early on and hopefully keeps them on here. I think sending some Steem and telling someone great job for a post, even if said post only gets one or two upvotes, keeps them in the game making content.

And for the person spreading love and being generous, I know personally speaking I'll always remember @brianphobos and @bottymcbotface for being the first ones to gimme some Steem, I appreciate it and those are two guys I'll always make sure I support.

Anyhow, as part of this mission to grow Steemit, as well as my own profile on here, I'm going to be giving all my Steem Dollars away for the next week. While I often power up 100%, I'm gonna leave things at 50/50 so I can help the community and continue to build my own influence as well.

If anyone wants to verify I'm doing this feel free to check my wallet, not in the street as I might pop you in the nose if you go reaching into my back pocket but checkout my Steemit wallet. haha.

And to anyone I send some Steem to, please continue to pass it along and help grow this great platform as well.

If you want to support me on this mission you can do so without giving away any Steem or Steem Dollars of your own, if you like a piece of content I make upvote me or resteem, I'll in turn get more Steem Dollars which I can give away.

This project will run from today July 2, 2017 through July 9, 2017.

Thanks for the shout out but I never mentioned Steemit to you on YouTube. I was just subscribed to you and in my mind I figured that once it was on your radar and you mentioned it on YouTube that suddenly the cat was out of the bag. Then before I even watched you video where you were talking about it suddenly you commented on one of my posts. So that was kind of crazy. My suspicions were correct though. Here is the actual chart for the Google trends for "Steemit"

Hey buddy yeah Steemit is going nuts on there. I know Vogeltron and several people were telling me to check it out, but you've been a motivation and a great resource since I've been on here so thanks for that. Yeah seems like a lot of interesting people are comming on the platform. I actually just got done reading an intro post from a dude that seems to be a podcaster/internet markter and has a pretty cool intro post and looks like has some great adventures to share...

I'm discovering more and more cool peeps and great content on here everyday so this platform is only going to continue to grow

Wow! I just read V's intro post! This guy is cool. I followed him and resteemed him to get more exposure. Thanks for telling me about him!

Very noble my friend. It is people like you who understand that Steemit is built for the long-term and we should all be pulling together to provide value for each in order to encourage the long-term growth.

This kind of attitude is far more beneficial to the community than to simply think in selfish, short-term ways!

HAHAHA! I just figured out how to reply to your content! This will be interesting. You are slowly becoming my favorite person of interest on youtube, and now my first follow and upvote on steem. I hope to learn a LOT from you on "Fun" streams of income. Wish I would have started watching you a long time ago. Thanks for everything you do for others. (KineticEnergy) Mike!

I have always been impressed and motivated by the "pay it forward" idea. I think if it was practiced more things would be a lot better. Looking forward to seeing how this progresses, and congratulations @rulesforrebels on your success!

Hey thanks buddy. Yeah a couple weeks back I was at Dunkin Donuts going through the drive thru and the person in front of me paid for my coffee. For whatever reason it really made my day having such a cool and positive thing happen first thing in the morning. I wound up doing the same to the person behind me in line, of course they didn't just have a cofee though they had a breakfast for 4 lol. I just watched a funny video the other day about a guy who did this at taco bell and said he had the person behind him have a $45 order and he was like who the hell gets $45 worth of food from taco bell lol. yeah i agree though i think the world would be a lot better

Lol..... fast food racks up pretty quickly. It always seems cheap when it's just you, but every person you add makes the cost rise exponentially. I definitely agree with you though paying it forward helps add positivity to the day!

taco bell is so funny though, my gf and i will every once in a blue moon go there, ill order like $20 worth of food and wind up getting like 3 giant bags, then ill get home and realize taco bell kinda sucks and its much better in theory than practice lol

I really like how you're trying to stick this platform out Rebel, and I wish you the best of luck!

Well done man. You're killin it right now on Steemit. It seems to be going pretty well for me too but I could definitely use some more exposure haha. However, it seems like you have a really good attitude about this platform so I can definitely see that you are putting in work and really want to make this work. I am semi-serious about it and I guess that makes all the difference.

Congratulations!

Love the idea, I bet you will make a bunch of people's days by returning to the site. People like you are what make this site's community really special!

When some contents are written from heart and does not get recognition, somehow feels bad. But it depends on how the audience react which the content creator has no control of. But as a whole , the steemit platform is providing a great tool for motivating quality content writers and also encouraging many to get noticed by their posts.

Damn buddy! Pop me in the nose? For real? I can't just take your wallet? I thought we were cool! lol. Keep up the good work, and I hope you and your family move to just the right place!

lol, thanks for the kind words buddy. found a sweet house down in vero beach fl not sure how serious i am at this point but definately exploring my options

Well, weight your options and keep me posted. I know things there aren't that great. As far as I know States can't file for bankruptcy, only cities. There might be other avenues though, none of which seem particularly good right now. Illinois, and Connecticut, aren't looking too good right now. I won't even mention Detroit, that while devastated as one of the highest property taxes! Just do your due diligence. You'll be okay.

I don't really follow Michigan or Detroits politics but I have a feeling maybe Detroit is like the Chicago of Michigan.

Suprisingly Michigan has very good housing affordability, I think is ranked pretty well in terms of taxes and cost of living, etc. I really enjoy the SW Michigan beach towns but not really a realistic place to live as I'm sure they become ghost towns outside of summer. I was just out at a really cool Brewery and beach in Stevensville MI the other weekend

Last time I went to Chicago was about 5 years ago for a business convention. It was April and cold as hell. I was living in NYC at the time. I can't see myself ever going back to living in a colder climate.

Is Chicago even colder than NY?

Hell yeah it is! Chi-Town is about 4 times colder than NYC. It was April in NYC and the trees were blossoming, but all the trees and plants in Chicago were all dead. The wind alone made it feel like February in NYC.

Awesome man! Great to hear you paying it forward. Upvoted.

Hi I'm Kayleigh. ..and I also upvoted..I totally love the concept of paying it forward. ..I lived my entire adult life this way..I believe you get what you put out in this life and people have always been to kind to me in time of need as well ..you rock :)

Thank you @rulesforrebels for your kindness :) :)

Hey who doesn't like a good give away! Very good idea paying forward and it will help you also!

Man I was thinking about giving away a series of books one at a time but not sure how to go about it. Any ideas? They are "Foxfire books". They were used but in really good condition and sell on Ebay anywhere from $22.00 to $30.00 dollars a book. Bushcraft books.

I'm replying to your nice gift from my post about independence day.

Thank you.

-John

Thanks John, really enjoyed that story. Happy Independence Day!!!

With more people like you this would be a better social network.

Many thanks to you and luck to the people who win your donation :)

I feel like everyone came in with hopes and dreams and plan to get rich quick by basically acting like a bot and came to an abrupt realization of what's up at some point.

I like your style man, stay cool!

That's what it's all about. Life is a team sport.
