    Here's the problem with this theory.

    1. You can only make 10 full power upvotes per day. If you make more than that, the system automatically begins to prevent abuse by reducing the power of your upvote to nearly zero.

    2. Flooding the pool with votes like this will start to devalue Steem and SBD by causing too many coins to be produced.

    3. There are whales who will begin downvoting (flagging) posts and authors that hit "trending" but don't contribute value to the community.

    You are much better off creating amazing content than you are flooding the network with things like #vincentb ... look at the #yunk project for example

    Downvoting a post can decrease pending rewards and make it less visible. Common reasons:

    • Disagreement on rewards
    • Fraud or plagiarism
    • Hate speech or trolling
    • Miscategorized content or spam
