Is buying a used car better than a new car?

in steemit •  7 years ago  (edited)

It's the age old debate of buying a new versus a used car, and many people can not agree to disagree. A used car saves money on the front end since the vehicle had already depreciated, but it could cost more on repairs in the back end, not knowing how it was taken care of. New cars cist a lot more and will lose money from the day it is purchased, but you have a warranty and, oh, that new car smell. What is the better decision in your opinion, new or used?636072639959966989-1736428352_Happy-Car-Salesman-closing-deal.jpg

Buying a used car is your best bet in my opinion.

I personally don't feel that the price of a new car is justified with most the warranties on the market. Buying used allows you to avoid a majority of the value depreciation, while still getting a reliable vehicle in most circumstances.

Excellent point, thank you
