Hindrance or help? Steemit taking up all my time!!

Hey Steemit!

Sienna here.

It was my first day back at uni on Tuesday, my second semester for the year.

I study a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering, I play soccer and I work at McDonald's. I have also completed a Diploma of Business Administration. I love everything and more about my degree and I can't wait to be in the real world and to dive into it. I am loyal to my soccer team, they're my team, my family. McDonald's is getting me through my degree at the moment and that has to do. I recently let go of my second job, because it was too much for me.

I've yet to fully understand steemit, and the basis on how it works, but i'm so intrigued and have delved into it more than I ever thought I would. The information that my brain is nagging me to find out, is overwhelming and I've never had a want to learn more, before. I find steemit has been taking up a lot of time on my mind. This is hindering my ability to focus on my studies or anything else, a lot. I find it hard to turn it off in my head, when I turn my computer off. There's so much I wish to know, to understand, to make my way through. Steemit has my full and unabided attention often.

I'm not sure whether it's a hindrance or a help, but I need to draw my boundaries! I worry that I will miss something if I'm not on here, though I miss other stuff when I am. The line is drawn somewhere, I'm yet to find out where. Maybe when I earn some steempower, steem or steemdollars, it won't be a hindrance it will be a help! To my financial situation and my future, and to my mind, I will be able to ease my want to refresh the page 100 times.

I just thought I would say hey, how's it going, and i still #standbehindsteemit through thick n thin.

I don't fully understand either, but hang in there and try to balance your time.

I've seen the Steemit Whitepaper to the right is helpful :)
