My cryptocurrency story

I heard about BITCOIN on the 4th of August 2016 through a friend @emmexdee. He introduced me to MMM (a ponzi scheme) and told me they accept cash and Bitcoin (cryptocurrency). @emmexdee told me how mmm works and the percentage you get on your money. I was excited because I was looking for alternative sources of income.

After registering on MMM I was surprised to find out that MMM was paying its participants 50% when they use BITCOIN and 30% when they use the cash. So I decided to go find out why MMM valued BITCOIN so much. I mean why 50%?

During my research I found out that bitcoin wasn't the only cryptocurrency, my research led me to other cryptocurrencies like monero, ripple and dash. So the next day I went to google.com and searched "top 10 cryptocurrency to invest in in 2016" and after several hours of study I got to find out how to make money through cryptocurrency and I bought over 25 different cryptocurrencies through poloniex and bittrex exchange.

As weeks and months went by, my interest for cryptocurrency kept increasing and I created a whatsapp for those MMM participants, to teach them what cryptocurrency is. the cryptocurrency group had over 80 people as at that time.

Two months later after trading with some cryptocurrency, I made over $1800 and got over 300 cryptocurrency students. It wasn't encouraging at first though, because 99% of my friends knew nothing about cryptocurrency, they thought I was wasting my time and energy researching on things that don't make sense. They also knew how much I lost in ponzi schemes so it gave them doubts that I was doing the right thing. I don't want to start telling how much I lost in ponzi schemes, but all those experiences made me wiser and smarter.

Steemit era

In March 2017, I came across steemit.com and read about it, told my friends about it, and they were like "you mean they'll just pay us for posting?", I said "yes" and they laughed and said "Facebook won't sit there and let this happen".

I got discouraged and dumped my account for over a month because by then (March) not even @jerrybanfield (my cryptocurrency favorite tutor) was on Steemit. I just felt I was doing too much research and I was going crazy.

So, several weeks later I wanted to know something about poloniex lending bot and I got to YouTube and stumbled across videos by @jerrybanfield, @craig-grant @majorleaguemarc about Steemit Steemit and I was like " hey I wasn't crazy, it's real!" lol, I went back to where I kept my password and started using my account again.

Now I have 3 whatsapp with over 160 I'm each of the groups and I've registered over 250 people so far.

Some of the people I talked to recently about Steemit are doing extremely well now. People like
