REPORTS FROM STEEMIT UYO MEET-UP #4 & OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT OF A STEEM ACCELERATOR HUB WITH FREE WIFI AND ELECTRICITY

16th of December is definitely going to be a memorable day for most steemians in Uyo community because I could see the smiles on their faces throughout the whole event and after the event

Steemit Uyo Community has actually grown drastically from 2 members ( myself and @evelyniroh ) to 125 active steemians just within few months with our very own discord group.

Our last meet up which had an attendance of over 15 steemians was successful and served as a starting point,this time the total attendance counted during the speech today was over 2 times our previous meet up attendance with over 8 newbies registered for a new account with my laptop.

The meet up had the presence of @tojukaka who traveled over 5 hours from Ibadan to Uyo and @ejemai who traveled from the city of Port Harcourt to come inspire, motivate and empower the youths in Steemit Uyo community.

The meet up had a crytocurrency / blockchain seminar session presented by me with questions from coming newbies who attended.

In other to be sure the new people really understood what i was teaching, i had to ask questions related to the topics I taught and those who answered the questions correctly were rewarded with SBD and STEEM, depending on how well they answered the questions.

After my presentation, @ejemai @tojukaka and @evelyniroh spoke to the people and taught them how to become relevant to the steemit blockchain community.

At the end, @ejemai officially announced the birth of STEEM ACCELERATOR HUB WITH FREE WIFI AND ELECTRICITY for the steemit Uyo community.

At first The news was sounding so unreal to many of the newbies because even the government of our Nation haven't done anything of this nature before, i had to share video of the steem hub in Ph. i think @ejemai and his vision needs more support from the steemit community for what he is doing on this blockchain. the money he makes from his post alone is enough for him to travel wherever he wants and have a good time, but he chose not to be selfish, he invested those money and time into empowering young people who are / will be leaders of tomorrow.

@Stach hub will be providing free electricity and wifi for the community as its support in bring the dream of having 20 million young people to steemit. The basic the difference between the rich and the poor is just knowledge, with the provision of free wifi and electricity to this community, steemians will have access to the internet to source for any information they want and also get empowered by the @stach project.

I'm personally excited about this project because I've been looking for ways to be of great help to my world and with help from @stach , this dream is coming alive.

Our meet up was supposed to sponsor 5 homeless kids this Christmas season but because we didn't get enough support, we had to move it until ourcommunity is big enough to sponsor its own project.

The whole meet up ended with a special birthday celebration by one of our most active newbies in our community by name @alisonudeme and a special cash price of 4000 Naira to the most active member of the community presented by me to @ishotz.
