Yesterday was a great day with steemians and some newbies at roothub in uyo. We at @stach are still in our journey of bringing 20 million people to Steemit. #project20millionnaija
So far steemit is still its beta phase and has not officially been launched, but we have already launched 2 hubs in Nigeria for the purpose of providing electricity and Internet to the people of Nigeria.
The first Hub was launched In Port Harcourt some months ago by @ejemai, that hub has brought well over 200 people to Steemit with key players like @klynic
Just some days ago, the second steem accelerator hub was launched in uyo with special appearance from great Nigerian steemians like @destinysaid @gbenga @festoganos @nairadaddy @eurogee @pangoli etc
The hub in uniuyo is not just a place where steemians come to use electricity and Internet, but it's also a working space where steemians can pick a spot (office space)
to run their offline and online business so they can make some extra cash.

There are currently 4 hubs in uyo and we decided to go meet the number one info tech hub and tell them about Steemit.
The team was led by @ejemai and accompanied by few steemians in uyo. The meeting lasted for two hours + and several topics were touched, such as "what steemit is, where the money comes from, how to register on Steemit etc
After the meeting, the main man behind the success of roothub uyo gave us his word to show support for any steem related project in uyo.

I just want to say thank you to the Steemit uyo community leaders for joining me to make this possible.
Steemit uyo community will hit 1000 active new participants before the end of the year, that's for sure.
