The timing really does matter. Experienced this first hand!

I think that you should post after 5pm EST. As more people will have time after work to check stuff out. This may vary though! So, its very important that someone extracted data for Steem and put it together just like the Reddit data above.

    Yeah it seems like before and after work might be the best hours, along with lunch break. Peak hours for reddit are around 9am EST though
