The Exodus: Anarchists, right wingers, sane people , and basically everyone except the mainstream media could be moving over to decentralized platforms - Steemit.

This is sort of a prediction for 2018. What I love to do is look at macro perspectives and draw big lines. I'm not that interested in technical analysis or news - even though I report on it if I think it's interesting in it's own way.

 

But one big move I see happening in 2018 and 2019 is the exodus of everyone who's not content with the mainstream political correct narrative. An Exodus is a mass departure of people, from fascist run platforms like Youtube, Twitter and Facebook who's only incentivizing politically correct behavior while using communist/fascist methods of reprisals on people threading over their political correct line.

As Twitter is sending out notifications to people about their accounts being russia-bots. People getting these notifications from Twitter were usually Trump supporters and other non-conformists.

“Got an email from Twitter accusing me of linking to Russian accounts & retweeting stuff during election,”

wrote the user AnalogDevice in a post on the The_Donald Reddit subforum

“Metoo. I created my twitter just as trump was elected, for info gain strictly. I was on maybe couple weeks, then just lost interest (not a social media guy). Just got an email same thing, i was following/communicating w russians. FYI: im a 42 year old father of 5, veteran [sic],”

wrote the user libsrcrybabies, adding, “Fuck off Twitter.”

 

As people like Stefan Molyneux, Mike Chernovic, Gavin Mcinnes, Milo, Owen Benjamin, Joe Rogan, Jordan Peterson, Mark Dice, Paul Joseph Watson, and many others are just taking off when it comes to popularity - no one really cares about mainstream media anymore. Their intentions are so clear - and the liberal leftist lunacy has gone too far for most people to deal with. They don't seem to have any standards what so ever, no moral compass, no values. Hollywood are all insane pedo-molestors, we've got pizzagate, we have he #Metoo campagin that is mainly a SJW leftist movement, but ironically directed at themselves - because that's where all the psychos are. In media, actors and politicians.

My big prediction for 2018 and 2019 is that mainstream media dies even more. Sure, it will be uses by those who are still brainwashed. The conformists, the old and the stupid. But more and more people are seeing the truth, and the truth is attached to cryptocurrencies.

Steemit's role

Platforms such as Steemit, and Steemit especially (because of a fully working product and first mover advantage) could possibly explode. There is in my opinion, after researching this ALOT, and following both the socio-political shitfs and the crypto currency markets, a big chance that Steem could explode up in price.

As more people end up becoming political dissidents from Youtube, Twitter and Facebook, they must find somewhere else to connect to people. We are living in a 100% globalized world online. We don't need an office, we don't need a company. We can collaborate with people we like over the Internet. We can share ideas, sponsor each other, send wages, send money, fund, donate to who ever we want, when ever we want, in what ever currency we agree upon. People leaving high exposure accounts behind on Twitter and Facebook will look at Steemit and see that this is a place where they can make a living.

Just keep in mind that for a lot of the big Youtubers, things like changing platform and shifting focus is a big decision. People like @Stefan.molyneux still has most of his exposure from Youtube, but he as created an account here in order to slowly build up and hedge against the very realistic possibility that he will get his account suspended at some point. Or perhaps he and others will leave voluntary once platforms like Steemit has more people on it.

Remember, Steemit is still a very very small platform. I think there is a good chance we will see Steemit attract a lot more attention in 2018.

I just raised my goal of Steem from around $10 to $30 in the end of the year, putting Steem at around $9 billion, and a 10th place on coinmarket cap. I will make sure my account grows a lot this year.
