@scintilla I believe steemit to hold far more real value both financial and as a point of interest, but i don't believe anything will over take Facebook now. Not enough people will grasp the concept of steemit whereas Facebook is a very simple and care free operation. Without writing too big of a response, Facebook is backed by some incredible wealth and mainstream awareness. Personally, i prefer the fresh quality of steemit so far, content is brilliant and the community is outstanding as opposed to Facebook's troll/negative type community.
