I do YouTube videos and i know that their network has problems with finding content. Everyday millions of videos appear and there is no good filter you can use to find the perfect one. So if you are a beginner and wanna share something very interesting - it's pretty hard to drow attention out there and your content could be easily lost among others.

Downvoting a post can decrease pending rewards and make it less visible. Common reasons:
