Will PotCoin and Dennis Rodman's "diplomatic mission" end the ongoing 60 year Korean Conflict?
The past 12 hours have been a roller coaster for crypto-currencies but this news story takes the cake in the history of crazy crypto news.
Dennis Rodman was spotted at the Beijing International Airport wearing a PotCoin.com t-shirt. PotCoin released a statement that they "sent" Rodman to North Korea on a diplomatic mission.
The press release was followed by 3 bizarre photos of Rodman and another man wearing PotCoin.com t-shirts in a hotel room. One of the photo was Rodman holding up his flight itinerary to North Korea.
Using his flight number in the photo I was able to track Rodman's flight in real time:
Once Rodman touched down in North Korea it got even more surreal. North Korea's official Twitter account tweeted a picture of Kim Jung Un and Rodman saying "Return of the King"
A few hours later, news broke that North Korea was releasing an American prisoner. No confirming information on whether Rodman had anything to do with this.
PotCoin has surged in the past 24 hours.
At the time of this writing, PotCoin (POT/BTC) has risen over 82% in the past 24 hours on Poloniex.
This timeline we are in is bizarre.
