I Started a New Blog, Follow if You're Interested

Greetings followers.

This is a PSA to let you know that I've started a new Steemit blog with one purpose and one purpose only: to post daily readings from the Bible so that it can be read cover to cover in one year.

If you're interested, follow my new blog @oneyearbible.

Why Am I Doing This?

I'm pretty bad at keeping up with my readings. Every year I get off to a good start in January, then it falls apart by mid-February or March at the very latest. I'm hoping this blog will incentivize me to keep going for the full year.

My motives are not purely selfish. For any of my Christian followers who struggle with their readings and devotions, I hope they will follow through this reading plan with me. My daily posts from this blog will show up on their feeds and remind them to read.

I chose to do this as a separate blog because I want it to be focused. Some people who follow @oneyearbible may not want their feeds cluttered with my art and musings on life, philosophy and anarchy. And on the flip side, some people who follow my current blog may not want to see the Daily Bible Readings every morning. Creating a new blog was the best solution.

What's the Reading Plan?

Rather than using one of the traditional one year plans, which usually have an Old Testament passage paired with a New Testament passage and a psalm or proverb, I'm following a chronological Bible reading plan from Tyndale's Chronological One Year Bible.

I'm really excited to gain new perspective on a lot of passages by getting a clearer understanding of how they fit in the timeline. David's psalms will be alongside the events of his life.

Books of prophecy will be spliced into 1 and 2 Kings, so we'll be able to see exactly what events God's servants were responding to.

Paul's letters will be inserted into stories from the book of Acts corresponding with the time they were written.

I'm excited and I hope you are to.

Remember to follow @oneyearbible if you want to keep up with this daily reading plan.

You can see the Introductory Post and I've also already posted an Introduction to the Chronological Bible and the first three readings of the year: 1, 2, and 3.

Thats cool i will follow. But whats about your animation project? Will there be more to see?

Oh boy... the answer won't be satisfying to anyone wanted to see more: The answer is that life is always busier than I expect. I still want to do more animated shorts, it's just a matter of finding the time.
