SMA-RADIO Music Post Curation Show ''The Needle On Your Record'' By @seveaux & @d-vine on Wednesday

We proudly present to you we're going to have a curation shown on SMA-Radio As of next Wednesday each week where it's all about YOU as a musician, and where we will play YOUR MUSIC live on air. Have it also discussed, upvoted and provided with honest feedback by our fellow musicians on the SMA community channel on discord and get some dolphin votes on it and who knows some whales aswel. Providing a show like this is fair to support you guys to get your tracks listened to effectively, since the post promotion channels are currently starting to overload a little, and also with a lot of challenges currently running by our great members, there is lots of music that could be missed out and end up having less exposure than it deserves.

WHAT IS THE SHOW ABOUT?

To give artists the opportunity to showcase their music, have a talk/ discussion to find out who is the artist, what is the motivation, how is the music created & to give honest feedback, and just be audio geeks like we are all deep from the inside (music producers) Having this in mind for some while, now we, @sevevaux, @d-vine & @inthenow will bring it to the SMA radio channel. Our shows going to be named ''The needle on your record''. Because it's all about your productions.

It will be live Wednesday 20:00 ECT (EUROPEAN CENTRAL) This will be at around 3:00 in the afternoon for NewYorkers.

Format

To be honest with you, I got inspired by our friend @freedomexists who is providing the very popular ''present your post show'' in the #whaleshares community server. Joining there most of the time myself, this show gives people the opportunity to present their posts, tell something about it and get upvotes comments on it by the audience, where there can be questions asked by anyone who has them. It's a great and open format. Resulting in finding wonderful and interesting content on a very effective way and make some friends too!

However, for musicians like us, presenting a post like a #dsound uploaded song is an issue and can or can be less effective if there is no possibility to play it clear and with high quality live, and also connection issues on the blockchain may occur so now and then resulting in people not able to check out your song / post because it's not possible.

BUT because we are the musicians here, we should be able to have solution right and be able to spin some music without any problems or bots right? And heck yeah totally. Since we started on creating the community, building the environment for musicians and music lovers online we've been testing out all kinds of ways to broadcast audio with the best quality on discord. So I guarantee you it's all good, and I've been doing it for some months now with playing dj sets or do jam sessions in the voice-chat, high quality, low delay.

BUT to be able to play your song live, I need to have an MP3 file on my laptop on forehand. So when you want to present your music the right way, and want it to get curated we all need to be able to listen to it, so for attending in the show to present your song and get it curated by the community, be sure to send me an MP3 file before of the track you want to present in your post. Just before we start send me a DM on discord. We are looking forward to expand and provide shows like this to help out musicians and to find talent too. Whoever attends on the show and presents their post also is going to be on the yet to be released ''SMA MIXTAPE SERIES''. Since it's way more effective to collect community members music to create and mix a mixtape like this. I also can provide #whaleshares at the end of the show ones in a while too whenever there are some left after the contest owners are supported with it, but this may variate.

Are there any questions about the show, are there points of improvement or not we are curious about it and also please come support us this week on Wednesday since it will be the first show. Even if you're not a musician, finding good music to enjoy is what it's all about for curators. I will make sure to be there with my voting power @100% aswel.
