It's Follow Friday on Taco Tuesday!

I want to make a few recommendations for reading here on Steemit. I've been here a few months consistently and have found a few gems, writers I love to read as well as a few newbies. I'm going to make a list of a few faves. I hope you'll do pay this forward to your own favorite steemit reads (#steemitreads?). I'd love to follow your top contributors.

@shapeshifter43 who writes about writing and parenting with compassion and humor. I always get the feels.

@rachelhanson who offers life lessons through personal foibles or notes on existence. She's great.

@arbitrarykitten who, simply put, knows how to write, but also chooses to inform, entertain and educate.

@misterakpan whose work is exquisitely beautiful, even when it is from childhood. Seriously noteworthy.

@snowmachine who writes words I want to collect whether they be fact, fiction or photograph.

@uglysweater who focuses hard on positivity even when the challenge feels insurmountable.

@sumayyahsaidso who offers a path to empathy through poetry and who pulls no punches in any line.

@raymondspeaks who is willing to dig deep and be vulnerable in his writing about being a man of privilege.

I'm not sure how many writers I've highlighted here. I could count, but it doesn't seem fair given there are so many more artists and writers on this platform I deeply admire. I plan to post again soon with a new list of loved reads, and I look forward to finding out who is on Steemit you love best and why.
