Hello fellow Steemians!
I need to clear something out of my mind before hindering my progress on this platform or damaging relations with other members.
I have a blog about an alternative view of history, archaeological sites, space exploration, UFOs, and other interesting stuff I come across. You can visit my site at - http://alienpolicy.com/ - don't confuse it with click-bait sites pelase, it's exactly what I'm trying to counter.
So now, when I post on steemit, I usually (not all the time) copy my previously written articles in here. I know Google has already indexed my site first, but I've read somewhere that if you specify the source, it's actually good for the search engine. That's exactly what the steemit bot does most of the time.
However, some users don't seem quite ok with this approach, and I would like to hear a general view on this.
Is it ok to just copy my content, which is mostly evergreen content, the way it is? Or rather try to rewrite the article in a way that appears unique for steemit?
With this in mind, do I have any guarantee the content will be rewarded accordingly on this platform? Will I see an increase from a few dimes to a few bucks if I go the extra mile and post original content? If so, will this happen right away, or do I have to build an audience on steemit first?
Thank you in advance!
I have the same issue too, I will re-steemit
