Good day Steemian welcome to today's Steem price update for 10/3/2019 I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price's and changes for just over 2 years now.

I also want to mention just incase your wondering when perhaps something doesn't seem normal from the other regular Price update posts that the daily Steem price posts do occasionally change it's format from time to time.

But regardless of changes we will carry on as usual and by this I mean knowing the price of Steem as it's important for your daily plan or strategy and honestly even if you are not planing to do anything with your Steem I still recommend checking out these updates and keeping an eye on the price, so without further ado lets take a look at today's Daily Steem Price Change for 10/3/2019

Should you be trading with Steem today...?

Thank you, thank you guys for that extra support I just want to quickly mention that we are now only 70-SP away from reaching dolphin, any extra support on reaching our goal is appreciated. The January high of $0.43 remained the best value of 2019 until March 7th we saw Steem reach $0.48, we did beat SBD's in February with them reaching $1.01 on the very last day..but guess what Steem as done it again! It broke another 2019 record. With Bitcoins we are going slowly upwards from hanging around $3813 to $3894. Ok as for Steem unless you haven't been paying attention you will know it's started going upwards lately we beat the January high and so reaching to $0.48 which made it the highest new Steem price for 2019 we are honestly already in a really good place, Steem as been seen around position #40 amongst all the other cryptos but it didn't stop there Steem goes higher today. We started with Steem at $0.45 one up from yesterday's start but by ⏰00.55 we already hit $0.48. Dam we had a real chance to go higher today as it was so early, soon after to no surprise it fell to $0.46 it didn't take long and it was climbing again. Steem hit $0.49 at ⏰02.15. The record was broken there was still a chance of hitting the $0.50 mark or even $0.51 and this did happen we hit the $0.50 mark at ⏰03.15 and $0.51 later at ⏰07.55 it fell to $0.48 and honestly that is where we expected it to roughly stay but instead the unexpected happen and Steem went back up and past the new $0.51 record mark reaching $0.55. It's calmed down abit now but still over the $0.50 mark! Anyway if not too much happens in 2019 then I hope those who are still in the game will take the opportunity to keep collecting Steem. The good news is enough as happened for us to all breathe better as Steem is no longer in survival mode, we have made it out of that era! But still the conclusion from all this is to continue the cut of the costs of nodes. Hivemind is now live the "steemd" instance size's went from 488GB RAM to now shockingly 61GB RAM! Focus is on a multi index RocksDB adapter which is a new technology in development to allow the Steem blockchain nodes to store almost all of it's necessary data to a disk in a modern database instead of RAM, this move will make nodes cheaper. Ned also said that the cost reduction progress will still remain above the creation of SMT's which I feel is the right move. Steem is also now available for trading on the Huobi marketplace so if you are a U.S. resident just go to huobi.com, if you are anywhere else you could try Huobi global at hbg.com. Also if you still don't understand how your private keys work or are relatively new to Steemit you can go to the Steemitblog account for a more recent official explanation. For SBD's you may remember they also broke record March 7th reaching to $1.01. Today SBD's are at a normal level. We started SBD's today at $0.98 and bounced between to $0.99 there was a downbump at ⏰01.30 taking SBD's to $0.96 but it was quickly recovered. Now at the same time Steem peaked which was at ⏰3.15 we also had SBD's go to $1.01. It was a little surprising it didn't go onto $1.02 but it did happen today. SBD's dropped back to $0.97 but at ⏰04.35 they started climbing, but it took till ⏰10.45 for us to break 2019's record and reach 1.02. This barely held for long and soon we was back at $0.97.
