Good day Steemian and welcome, this is more than just a price update on the Steem cryptocurrency for 14/10/2024, under the hood it's been a 8 year project.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content, plus I have attended many Steem official events and represented Steem at smaller events.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price and recent Steemit changes for over 8 years.

There as never been a single power down made on this account since that time "8 years", our mission is to retain and rise the price of Steem for the benefit of us all. We do this by not only holding STEEM but by also buying into STEEM from time to time. All this rises the price of STEEM meaning your investment goes up in value and so does your earned rewards.

I'm sure we all want a better future for Steem and so casting your upvote here keeps Steem locked to raise it's value for us all plus we will try and use some of that Steem to buy even more. Most of the players in the crypto sphere are only here for some quick and often times shady profits, this is before they decide to just get up and disappear. But we have been here for the long run and would like to see Steem remain a strong and reliable token.

Oct 2024-Bitcoin reached over "70.000" on June 4th and so the high season isn't done just yet. But when is it likely to finish? When it falls to 50k? I still thought we would of seen it fall further down but maybe we won't. And so who knows when the bullrun will be truly over, but 30k would be a good mark, we mention bitcoin because it can be a indication on the direction that Steem will follow. However sadly not a lot of movement from our own token this bullrun, perhaps we have to be more patient as we wait on another possible alt coin season. But what this means is that Steem itself is still wide open price wise for the smart and smaller investors👍. Last night I went to sleep way past the usual late hour, this was mostly due to reading a article about those hiring assassins online, the article claims most people place a bounty on their love rivals more than anything else, which is rather sad when you think about it. There was also various other things keeping me busy as my father as now left and I have much to catch-up with. When I did try to sleep there wasn't any difficulty, I was surprised by this as I was stressing a little about the long work shift tomorrow and what I would be doing for so many hours. But it's helped that I have now moved back into my room as my father sleeps in mine when he stays here. I woke-up again 2 hours to my scheduled alarm, the alarm was set for in-between the hours I usually start, this is to try and help me improve my sleeping routine. It wasn't my father that woke me up this morning, he as not been here for the previous 2 mornings and so now I can't understand why I keep waking-up 2 hours to my alarm. Most mornings I have been resting past the alarm as I'm still tired, as usually I'm not going to sleep early enough but this morning that was not possible. As for the weather this morning it continued being dark and miserable. Temperature wise it was initially cold but quickly turned to being mostly comfortable. Infact this morning I had to wake-up a little earlier if I had any chance of getting anything done today before going to work. This kind of didn't go well as I rested for longer but while I didn't get everything I wanted done before work I at least got most of the main ones completed. But now I need to work and start earning some much needed money to combat all the costs of birthdays, events and some of the costs from having my father over, I'm annoyed it's all happening in October as per usual. So I got on with a few chores which most I was not able to get completed, but I done what I could, and with my free time up I had a quick small breakfast, got my bag set for work, changed and left. On the way to work I took the rubbish with me to dispose, it was a little brighter out compared to earlier, thankfully as it almost felt like it was still the middle of the night. When I got to work I was not too surprised to see the workers had pulled already so much of the furniture. It's interesting to see how much space there really is once you get rid of everything. I was glad to see and still kind of expected to not to be dealing with any financial stuff this shift, likely this won't happen yet for the next few weeks and if I'm really lucky until next year. There was a severe lack of staff this morning and the superiors I felt were giving me way too much work to get done. I was lucky that in general there was not much going on at the time, if not there was no way I would be able to handle it all. Thankfully later the superior in charge of the others arrived and by what I could understand the workload that they were initially giving me was bridging over the gap of being illegal in normal circumstances. And so she placed one of the other superiors to help me which honestly made a lot more sense, but honestly she shouldn't of had to do that. Considering I that was doing such a long shift and in one way doing them a favour I was initially I guess not being treated very well, but glad it all got resolved and it became more manageable. And this is how it was until the extra work came in, which was just a insane amount! I reckon my boss was not very polite to them over the phone when he told them to send us less, this is while the works are happening. It seems like after putting the phone down they must of giving the order to send in triple the amount to us to make sure that my boss never calls in again requesting less again hahaha. Well it was to no surprise that a lot of it was still left still by the time I was leaving. Regardless I was happy to have one more shift on my floor. On the way home it had already turned dark, I was also really beginning to feel just how tired I was, but admit even the last hour was getting difficult. When I got home I started with a few chores, but promised myself I was going to take it easy tonight. As for the quick work-outs it's now been 16 missed days, but now that my father as left I hope to start them again soon. Lastly I started to prepared dinner, checked for any news from my father which there was a lot argh, and then settled-in for the night. As for Steemit.com 📊 Season 21 of the Learning Challenge will be starting later in October, applications are now set for the new season coming. Onwards there as been mostly promises of war happening everywhere, such a war in this day and age will be devastating and so we must continue to work on remaining at peace and not to fight in wars that don't belong to us.
