Good day Steemian and welcome, this is more than just a price update on the Steem cryptocurrency for 15/10/2024, under the hood it's been a 8 year project.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content, plus I have attended many Steem official events and represented Steem at smaller events.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price and recent Steemit changes for over 8 years.

There as never been a single power down made on this account since that time "8 years", our mission is to retain and rise the price of Steem for the benefit of us all. We do this by not only holding STEEM but by also buying into STEEM from time to time. All this rises the price of STEEM meaning your investment goes up in value and so does your earned rewards.

I'm sure we all want a better future for Steem and so casting your upvote here keeps Steem locked to raise it's value for us all plus we will try and use some of that Steem to buy even more. Most of the players in the crypto sphere are only here for some quick and often times shady profits, this is before they decide to just get up and disappear. But we have been here for the long run and would like to see Steem remain a strong and reliable token.

Oct 2024-Bitcoin reached over "70.000" on June 4th and so the high season isn't done just yet. But when is it likely to finish? When it falls to 50k? I still thought we would of seen it fall further down but maybe we won't. And so who knows when the bullrun will be truly over, but 30k would be a good mark, we mention bitcoin because it can be a indication on the direction that Steem will follow. However sadly not a lot of movement from our own token this bullrun, perhaps we have to be more patient as we wait on another possible alt coin season. But what this means is that Steem itself is still wide open price wise for the smart and smaller investors👍. Last night I went to sleep past the usual late hour, still earlier compared to yesterday by like 20 mins, this was mostly due to some picture hunting since my father leaving. Yesterday it was a article I was reading about those hiring assassins online, the article claims most people place a bounty on their love rivals more than anything else, which is rather sad when you think about it. When I did try to sleep there wasn't any difficulty, it's helped that I have now moved back into my room as my father sleeps in mine when he stays here. I woke-up again 2 hours to my scheduled alarm, the alarm was set for in-between the hours I usually start, this is to try and help me improve my sleeping routine. Since my father visiting I have been waking up 2 hours earlier, this should of stopped happening by now, perhaps I'm getting a dry throat or something. Most mornings I have been resting past the alarm as I'm still tired, as usually I'm not going to sleep early enough this morning was the same. As for the weather this morning it continued being dark, cloudy and miserable. Temperature wise it was initially cold but turned to being mostly comfortable. I rested for much longer than usual this morning, at first I was annoyed by this but then remembered how long my shift was yesterday. And so it made sense to me as to why I should be wanting that extra rest. The late start this morning was not a problem as I had work only later, like this giving me the chance to still get some chores done. I really need to work and start earning some much needed money to combat all the costs of birthdays, events and some of the costs from having my father over, I'm annoyed it's all happening in October as per usual. So I got on with a few chores some I was completing still from last night, but I done what I could, and with my free time up I had a quick small breakfast, got my bag set for work, changed and left. On the way to work I took the rubbish with me to dispose, I was surprised to see that it was getting warmer out even without the improvement of the general weather. When I got to work I was shocked to see that the builders had already placed walls up that were not there before. One of my colleagues joked about which way I wanted to go as it almost looked like a obstacle course to navigate. I'm actually really pleased with the walls as it gives us all some more privacy in my opinion. However I think certain spaces have been made a little too small and I feel it might be enough to impact the business. The workers had already pulled away much of the furniture and it's interesting to see how much space there really is once you get rid of everything. I was glad to see and still kind of expected to not be dealing with any financial stuff this shift, likely this won't happen yet for the next few weeks and if I'm really lucky until next year. Only yesterday we had a really good supply of staff and everything seemed planned out right. The only disappointment was my task later today after some of the staff were gone, it was to continue emptying out my floor. I was looking forward to my day off tomorrow but I got that phone call from a superior telling me about how much extra work was being set tomorrow. So she told me I would need to come in which in one way is very much needed so I can cover the costs this month. I reckon my boss was not very polite to them over the phone when he told them to send us less work, this is while the building works are happening. It seems like after putting the phone down they must of given the orders to send in triple the amount to us to make sure that my boss never calls them again requesting less hahaha. Regardless I'm happy to have one more shift on my floor. On the way home it had already turned dark rainy, chilly and even a little foggy. I wanted to get home quickly but had to make a call to a friend about a job show they attended. My friend said it went well and that they would be interesting in applying and hopefully getting a job, good luck to them. When I got home I was still talking to my friend about the job show, by the time I got off the call it was too late to get started with any chores. As for the quick work-outs it's now been 17 missed days, but now that my father as left I hope to start them again soon. Lastly I started to prepared dinner and then settled-in for the night. As for Steemit.com 📊 Week 6 of Season 20 for the Steemit Engagement Challenge begins with a increased number of teaching teams and challenges. Onwards there as been mostly promises of war happening everywhere, such a war in this day and age will be devastating and so we must continue to work on remaining at peace and not to fight in wars that don't belong to us.
