Good day Steemian and welcome, this is more than just a price update on the Steem cryptocurrency for 16/8/2024, under the hood it's been a 7 year project.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content, plus I have attended many Steem official events and represented Steem at smaller events.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price and recent Steemit changes for over 7 years.

There as never been a single power down made on this account since that time "7 years", our mission is to retain and rise the price of Steem for the benefit of us all. We do this by not only holding STEEM but by also buying into STEEM from time to time. All this rises the price of STEEM meaning your investment goes up in value and so does your earned rewards.

I'm sure we all want a better future for Steem and so casting your upvote here keeps Steem locked to raise it's value for us all. Most of the players in the crypto sphere are only here for some quick and shady profits before they just decide to get up and disappear but we have been here for the long run and would like to see Steem remained a strong and reliable token.

August 2024-Bitcoin reached over "70.000" again on June 4th and so the high season isn't done just yet. Likely you have witnessed the many bearish traps for investors to try and navigate this season. And so who knows when the bullrun will be truly over, I mention bitcoin because it can be a indication on the direction that Steem will follow. However not a lot of movement from our own token this time round compared to previous years which is very sad. Perhaps we have to be more patient as we wait on another possible alt coin season, but what this means for now is that Steem itself is still wide open price wise for the smart and smaller investors👍. Last night I went to sleep way past the usual late hour, this was mostly because of reading some well written story posts. When I did try to reach slumber there wasn't any difficulty, it wasn't hot infact it was raining which was nice to fall asleep to. Once sleeping I woke-up only to my scheduled alarm which is what I want. The alarm was set for earlier than usual to get myself to work on time, this is also to try and get my routine back on track which I will need to do as I discovered that unfortunately in 2 weeks I got those very horrible early morning work shifts again. Like yesterday I rested past the alarm, my mistake however was that I completely switched the alarm off and fell asleep again🤦‍♂️! But thankfully I was very lucky to wake-up in 20 minutes time as any later and I would of been late for work. As for the weather this morning it was mostly cloudy, there was some sun trying to get through all the clouds but not much. Temperature wise the heat was at a point where it was comfortable infact yesterday it was a little chilly but it was fine this morning. Since I had to get into work soon there wasn't any time for getting any chores done. When my free time was up I skipped breakfast and will get something at work, before leaving I changed, got my bag set and then myself ready for work. On the way to work it stopped raining and the sky started to clear, I didn't wear the summer clothes which was the right choice going to work, but not on the return. Arriving to work I thankfully was not late, this happened yesterday where I was late but by like a minute or 2 and luckily nobody noticed "I think🤔". Haha I was there later than the guy who always gets there late🤦‍♂️! "But only just". He is the same guy who deals with setting-up the extra work and thankfully this morning I wouldn't see him as there wouldn't be any extra work. The guy who usually asks if I can do some cover work instead asked me if I had dealt with the new equipment yet? I said yes and explained that I think it will be useful once the whole system is on the newer network, as right now its the reason for it not to be functioning correctly. It took me sometime getting used to it and learning it as I thought it would be a good idea to try while the superiors were not around. Looking over the weekly task sheet I felt like everything was already completed so there was not much to do which is good as I was just not in the mood for whatever reason. I done some cover later and while on break explained the work situation with friends as we continue to try and work out a day to meet. Returning from lunch I was not happy to receive news that there are some more training courses I have to complete, not one but 2!... honestly AGAIN.. I just had to get 2 done less than a month ago. While this is annoying I can't complain as they have been much less compared to how often we used to get them. Heading home there was a big improvement in weather, it's no wonder I started to feel so hot, now that the sun was out more it was starting to get warmer however it remained relatively cloudy. It was nice enough out that I was really considering taking the longer way home, but the clothing I had on would make it too hot plus I had much to get done and so decided against it. Once I got home I started working on chores but had to remember not to forget I had those annoying work courses to get done "homework" arrgh 😡! It's definitely not the day I wanted to do them as I had plans to meet with friends online and fit in a shower somewhere between that. So after doing some chores I decided to go for the shower first to get refreshed and ready for the silly work courses. I was lucky that they were short and mostly easy because I was already running on the time my friends would be online. Well going to meet them today was a waste of time as nobody showed up, well except those who were on holiday but of course nothing could be done if they were away. After doing what I could for the day I checked to if my father was going to call as someone had been ringing home, lastly I started to prepared dinner before settling in for the night. As for Steemit.com 📊 like I mentioned before there was some progress on updating the look of the Steemit.com website to something more "modern". I was very worried about this but the changes aren't anything drastic You can now experience this yourself and may have noticed already the changes. For me personally I feel like it helps certain things stand out more, however I still feel like navigation could be improved. Onwards there as been mostly promises of war happening everywhere, more countries are slowly getting and warning their citizens to prepare for war. Such a war in this day and age will be devastating and so we must continue to work to remain at peace and not fight in wars that don't belong to us. Before we finish I would like to ask if anybody can recommend any website to watch movies or series for free without a VPN or a download site, a upvote will be sent if it's good.
