Good day Steemian and welcome, this is more than just a price update on the Steem cryptocurrency for 2/5/2024, under the hood it's been a 7 year project.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content, plus I have attended many Steem official events and represented Steem at smaller events.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price and recent Steemit changes for over 7 years.

There also as never been a single power down made on this account since that time "7 years", our mission is to retain and rise the price of Steem for the benefit of us all. We do this by not only holding STEEM but by also buying into STEEM from time to time. All this rises the price of STEEM meaning your investment goes up in value and so does your earning rewards.

I'm sure we all want a better future for Steem and so casting your upvote here keeps Steem locked to raise it's value for us all. Most of the players in the crypto sphere are only here for some quick and shady profits before they just decide to get up and disappear but we have been here for the long run and would like to see Steem remained a strong and reliable token.

If you tire of addictively looking at the charts every few minutes then instead just relax and look here for the average STEEM price for your daily plan or strategy.

May 2024-Bitcoin reached over "70.000" again on March 25th and so the high season isn't done just yet thankfully. We had yet another fall from Bitcoin but likely you have also witnessed some of the many bearish traps for investors to try and navigate. So who knows when the bullrun will be truly over, I only really mention bitcoin because it can be a indication on the direction that Steem will follow. However not a lot of movement from our own token this time round compared to previous years which is very sad. Perhaps we have to be more patient, others would argue that it almost doubled since it's bottom, and so while that was something to celebrate Steem as done much better in the past. However with that it also means that Steem itself is essentially still wide open price wise for the smart and smaller investors. Last night I went to sleep at the usual late hour, which is a little disappointing but still better than the previous night. This was mostly due to being out with friends while I did leave with good time it was still a set back. When I did go to rest it was easy to fall asleep, it's now been the 3rd night where I haven't needed a extra layer on nor was the blanket used. As previously I was sure the reason for having those last nights of trouble falling asleep was due to the cold. Since I didn't need the blanket I wonder could it be that it's finally getting warm enough to dich it!? When I did go to sleep I didn't wake-up until my scheduled alarm, which is good so that I didn't waste any time not getting rest. I then woke-up to my alarm ringing which I did rest for a bit past it but not for as typically long. The alarm was set for later than usual as I want to make sure I get enough sleep so as to not get unwell. I could of easily rested for longer but I had things I wanted to get done. As for the weather this morning it's the opposite of yesterday where it tried to get brighter, however it's to no surprise since the news of the storm yesterday which never happened as instead made for a very gloomy, dark morning where I feel there is a high chance of rain. While it was a late start to the day this was not much of a problem as I didn't have work to get in for instead I wanted to get done some of the remaining chores from yesterday plus others. I also wanted to hunt for some Steem which I managed to half complete not only due to time retrains but the price also started to go up. I learnt later from friends and family that there was infact a storm last night, there was lighting and thunder but barely any rain or wind and so it must of just been in the distance which is likely why it didn't wake me. Overall for the day while I didn't get everything I wanted done it was another productive one. Hopefully I won't have to go on my break earlier than usual again tomorrow due to some meetings going on, and while I didn't mind it that much "that time" I do worry that they may try and turn it into a regular thing, we will see. I still feel like I have a fire test at work to get completed as when I was last in and passed the newest superiors work I noticed a check-list with my name on it, seems like I probably had to do the usual fire test. Thinking about it I couldn't remember when was the last time we had fire tests, I was trying to remember what were the questions and answers and was struggling. It wasn't long after that I spotted her chasing me down and it was indeed for a test but not the fire safety one, instead it was one on some documentation. I must remember done some of the weekly task already as I only have one this week but divided it up into 3 sections. The other night my computers mouse stopped working correctly an so the following morning I had to go and find another working one. Luckily I have a few that my mother gifted to me from her old job, sadly the one I'm using at the moment compared to the previous one I just don't like it very much. But hey it's free and mostly works fine so I can't complain too much, the biggest issue I have with it is the shape, likely designed for bigger hands that like to rest on it but to me it just feels awful. Perhaps I can eventually get used to it. Still waiting to get a reply from my friend so that everybody can more or less make their final decisions about the event coming next month. However I should actually find out soon about my own situation putting it to the point that it won't be worth knowing as he is leaving it too late. As I wait to know more on whether or not I can attend any of the event days with a organic day off from work. I must admit it's not looking good following the structure and pattern I have been seeing lately however I'm still really hoping to at least to get one of those days off. As for Steemit.com there as been talks about doing PR for the site which I'm sure as all been done before and while in one way adding more people could help the tokens value I believe it would be better to try and educate those who are already with us. And I don't mean education on content creation but on how the site and the token is valued, again not by content but by holding the token, buying etc. Others are working on updating the look of the Steemit.com website to something more "modern" I was very worried about this but the changes aren't anything drastic. They have got to the point were inviting alpha testers to try the work so far as been called for. What I would like to see is just easier excess to all parts of the website. Sometimes I feel have to be too much on the right page to get to where I want to go.. if that makes sense. Onwards there as been mostly promises of war happening everywhere, more countries are slowly getting and warning their citizens to prepare for war. Such a war in this day and age will be devastating and so we must continue to work to remain at peace and not fight in wars that don't belong to us. Before we finish I would like to ask if anybody can recommend any website to watch movies or series for free without a VPN, a upvote will be sent if it's good.
