Good day Steemian and welcome, this is more than just a price update on the Steem cryptocurrency for 20/5/2024, under the hood it's been a 7 year project.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content, plus I have attended many Steem official events and represented Steem at smaller events.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price and recent Steemit changes for over 7 years.

There also as never been a single power down made on this account since that time "7 years", our mission is to retain and rise the price of Steem for the benefit of us all. We do this by not only holding STEEM but by also buying into STEEM from time to time. All this rises the price of STEEM meaning your investment goes up in value and so does your earning rewards.

I'm sure we all want a better future for Steem and so casting your upvote here keeps Steem locked to raise it's value for us all. Most of the players in the crypto sphere are only here for some quick and shady profits before they just decide to get up and disappear but we have been here for the long run and would like to see Steem remained a strong and reliable token.

If you tire of addictively looking at the charts every few minutes then instead just relax and look here for the average STEEM price for your daily plan or strategy.

May 2024-Bitcoin reached over "70.000" again on March 25th and so the high season isn't done just yet thankfully. We had yet another fall from Bitcoin and likely you have witnessed recently some of the many bearish traps for investors to try and navigate. So who knows when the bullrun will be truly over, I mention bitcoin because it can be a indication on the direction that Steem will follow. However not a lot of movement from our own token this time round compared to previous years which is very sad. Perhaps we have to be more patient, others would argue that it almost doubled since it's bottom, and so while that was something to celebrate Steem as done much better in the past. However that does mean that Steem itself is essentially still wide open price wise for the smart and smaller investors💰. Last night I went to sleep way past the usual late hour which is disappointing, this was mostly due to some late night creativity. When I did go to rest I had some difficulty falling asleep, not as bad compared to previous nights and likely because of some anxiety. When I did fall asleep I woke-up a whole 2 hours before my scheduled alarm which was just ridiculous, not sure why, but perhaps I got too hot at one point. Maybe it was the brightness outside that caused it, I tried getting some more sleep but it was difficult. I woke-up to the alarm and there was no choice for resting past it, the alarm was also set for earlier than usual as I had to make it for a morning work shift. As for the weather this morning it was a very bright morning with lots of sunshine and a nice blue sky which I think means today is going to be a warm day. With work so early there was no chance of getting done any basic chores until my return, and so this morning I skipped on breakfast and instead got ready to head straight to work even if I was feeling strangely more hungry than usual. On the way to work it continued to be mostly pleasant out except for a little bit of wind but I could feel the sun was warming the place up. When I arrived to work I was confused to see all the superiors in their office, my conclusion is there must be a meeting happening between them when my boss gets there. Speaking to a colleague he was confused about the same thing and informed me that even the superiors themselves were confused as to why all of them were in at the same time...Well in the end there was no meeting so who knows what the fools are playing at. My colleague who normally deals with the extra work as been training a colleague all last week to do the job and now this week he will train another. And that will be the guy who said that I wasn't being very encouraging or supportive enough of him. Well unlike the other staff I can't help but speak the truth, it's not him.. the work itself is not easy and sorry but I just wont pretend to sugar coat it!🍭. It was funny this shift to witness him asking me various times to assure him that the paper work isn't too terribly complicated to handle, again I told him the truth, while the paperwork itself is not terribly difficult it is annoying. He then told me about being worried getting some of the weekly tasks completed since he will be doing this training. I told him not to worry about that as it's not that important that they will pull him up on it which is again the truth. Speaking of which that's actually what I got on with later after seeing that my name was marked down for getting two tasks done this week and one of them I'm not keen on. I had that meeting with my boss the other day, it was mostly to do with flexibility and commitment to the business which he said didn't really apply to me much as I already had these covered. He did however say he might need more from me.. "no surprise there, every company wants your soul!💀" to do some others tasks. For this I would need some re-training but he is still not sure if this will be necessary. Hopefully it won't come to that🙏, but likely this is just a "soft push technique" where slowly I will be forced to do these tasks. While most of the meeting doesn't effect me I do feel awful for the people that it does affect. Those who it does can eventually get the sack and that's were this hit me most ☹ because there are people like for example parents, students or those with 2 jobs who just can't commit to such a flexible timetable which isn't right as there are people who can cover this already and in such a difficult economy it's just stupid 👎. The government "not that you should trust them to do anything good" should not let companies perform such moves but I guess this keeps the poor...poor. As for the new guy at work he should actually only be with us for around 4 weeks training, he is to be a superior for another worksite. But mostly all I see this guy doing most of the day is just walking around back and forth, checking he's phone all the time rather than learning or even working for that matter. He did actually do some work this shift for a chance. More strangely is when we left work the other day he bizarrely told two women who were walking to the nearby GYM that they must be crazy to be walking around at 7.30PM..What?🤷‍♂️? Why on earth did he say that? Is it a safety measure he was pointing out? On that day it went past the 9PM mark and it was still light out, plus there were plenty of other women out, I just can't understand why this guy is so confused about 2 women walking around at 7.30PM. As he ever been out at night? Many of the women who go out clubbing don't get back home until 4 in the morning🤷‍♂️. For this shift I felt like my colleague who was complaining about the superiors shouting at him all the time, well this time 2 of them decided to shout at me briefly for something very petty which I was not happy with. We don't go to work to get shouted at, is it really that difficult to talk to people instead like adults ❗❓ when they have done a small mistake? That happened close to the end when it was time for me to leave and so I was very glad to get out of there. It was very pleasant out and before I went home I needed to get some shopping done first, once home I started with getting chores done. As for later today I joined some friends online this time everybody showed up and I got all the completed information about who is doing what when it comes to the event days. However this did cause a bit of trouble as some friends are annoyed that others are not attending because likely I won't be going, this is all very petty and I feel bad for some of them because which ever action they take there is going to be people complaining. I'm just very annoyed that work 🤬 didn't give me the time off needed to attend the event days. As for Steemit.com there as been talks about doing PR for the site which as all been done before and while in one way adding more people could help the value of Steem I believe it would be better to try and educate those who are already with us. And I don't mean education on creating content but rather on how the site and the token is valued "again not by it's content" but instead by holding Steem, buying etc. SteemFest in the past was a massive Steem dedicated event, SteemFest Korea 2024 will take place in the South Korean capital of Seoul on Saturday 25 May. It's not their first and I believe it's a smaller event compared to the original SteemFest events but that's ok anybody can put together a Steem event and it's great to see it happening in South Korean. Others are working on updating the look of the Steemit.com website to something more "modern" I was very worried about this but the changes aren't anything drastic. They have got to the point of having alpha testers. What I would like to see is just easier excess to all parts of the website. Sometimes I feel have to be too much on the right page to get to where I want to go.. if that makes sense. Onwards there as been mostly promises of war happening everywhere, more countries are slowly getting and warning their citizens to prepare for war. Such a war in this day and age will be devastating and so we must continue to work to remain at peace and not fight in wars that don't belong to us. Before we finish I would like to ask if anybody can recommend any website to watch movies or series for free without a VPN, a upvote will be sent if it's good.
