Good day Steemian and welcome, this is more than just a price update on the Steem cryptocurrency for 21/4/2024, under the hood it's been a 7 year project.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content, plus I have attended many Steem official events and represented Steem at smaller events.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price and recent Steemit changes for over 7 years.

There also as never been a single power down made on this account since that time "7 years", our mission is to retain and rise the price of Steem for the benefit of us all. We do this by not only holding STEEM but by also buying into STEEM from time to time. All this rises the price of STEEM meaning your investment goes up in value and so does your earning rewards.

I'm sure we all want a better future for Steem and so casting your upvote here keeps Steem locked to raise it's value for us all.

April 2024-Bitcoin reached over "70.000" again on March 25th and so the high season wasn't done just yet thankfully. We had yet another fall from Bitcoin but likely you have witnessed there have been lately many bearish traps for investor to try and navigate. We also had the Bitcoin halving that for some reason everybody gets excited about because it's suppose to mean the price will ramp-up but in all honesty in previous halving's apart from a bump-up I noticed it usually falls more than anything. So who knows if the bullrun it's truly over and I only mention bitcoin because it can be a indication on the direction that Steem will follow. However not a lot of movement from our own token this time round compared to previous years which is very sad. Perhaps we have to be more patient, others would argue that it almost doubled since it's bottom, and so while that was something to celebrate Steem as done much better in the past. However with that it also means that Steem itself is essentially still wide open "price wise" for the smart and small investors. Last night I went to sleep way past the usual late hour, which was disappointing as this as happened for a few nights in a row now. This was mostly because of getting in later from seeing friends and because of doing some medical research for writing. When I did go to sleep it was very cold but I managed to fall asleep rather quickly, still I'm better prepared lately for the night by putting on a blanket over the sheets, surprisingly while it helps it isn't by much but it is usually enough to get me through the night but last night I had to add yet another sheet. I believe the heating had only been only a while ago and so it's amazing how cold it still felt. When I did go to sleep I woke-up probably about 40 minutes before my scheduled alarm which was set for a little later than usual as I wanted to make sure I get enough rest. I went back to sleep and also continue to rest past the alarm as I wanted a good amount of rest so that I don't get sick again. As for the weather this morning almost similar to yesterday where it was nothing but gloomy however it's just slightly brighter which I'm guessing won't last. I was lucky enough this morning to not have work again and so resting for longer was not a problem, but I did want to start getting on with my chores. I also took the opportunity to look for a good Steem deal, I wasn't as lucky compared to the previous time but I still got some. I checked in with a few things my dad was experimenting with to see the results which as I suspected were a little disappointing but I guess could of been worse, and so I will only tell him once the weekend is over. There are two events later in the year that I wanted to prepare for and so done some working out so I could send work the correct time off I need, which I'm hoping this time they will allow me to have. Yes I'm still disappointed about the one coming next month that I likely won't be able to attend as work already refused to allow me to have that time off. Since I also managed another updated and wanted to see how my friend got on with that software that I helped him with 2 days ago I went to our online get together. Setting up the new laptop the other day I'm honestly shocked and disturbed by the state of our technology these days, I'm well aware of how much information is tracked these days but these latest laptops are nothing but full-on spy machines, it's disgusting. I was even more surprised that with this new laptop in particular there is no way to by-pass not having to be connected to the internet, it's ridiculous what if you just want it as a form of writing or reading documents, what about to store pictures, to just use some software? Oh no you can't do any of that now without internet, or to avoid being forced to sign-up with a account with them even if you know dam well you wont ever use any of their applications or tool they force down you. It was a very frustrating yet funny and long desperate "on their side" experience and it's amazing to think how many people will just simply agree to comply with all this nonsense. Initially neither did it let me use the services I wanted, how dare they keep deferring me from the products and services I have already been using for years, like I just paid money to excess these things by purchasing a laptop! Honestly is there no thought process to this anymore?! Glad I done this on a day off, I knew it was going to take a long time. Still sad for my friend who received really bad news that they had been fired from work, stupid really when working in a place in dire need of staff, it honestly makes no sense. But at least there are a few months of opportunity to find new work, but on call tonight it was the same situation with another friend where their work place is in desperate need of staff but the company either fires or doesn't hire anybody?! As for Steemit.com there as been talks about doing PR for the site which I'm sure as all been done before and while in one way adding more people could help the tokens value I believe it would be better to try and educate those who are already with us. And I don't mean education on content creation but on how the site and the token is valued, again not by content but by holding the token, buying etc. Others are working on updating the look of the Steemit.com website to something more "modern" I was very worried about this but the changes aren't anything drastic. They have got to the point were inviting alpha testers to try the work so far as been called for. What I would like to see is just easier excess to all parts of the website. Sometimes I feel have to be too much on the right page to get to where I want to go.. if that makes sense. Onwards there as been mostly promises of war happening everywhere, more countries are slowly getting and warning their citizens to prepare for war. Such a war in this day and age will be devastating and so we must continue to work to remain at peace and not fight in wars that don't belong to us. Before we finish I would like to ask if anybody can recommend any website to watch movies or series for free without a VPN, a upvote will be sent if it's good.
