Good day Steemian and welcome, this is more than just a price update on the Steem cryptocurrency for 23/10/2024, under the hood it's been a 8 year project.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content, plus I have attended many Steem official events and represented Steem at smaller events.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price and recent Steemit changes for over 8 years.

There as never been a single power down made on this account since that time "8 years", our mission is to retain and rise the price of Steem for the benefit of us all. We do this by not only holding STEEM but by also buying into STEEM from time to time. All this rises the price of STEEM meaning your investment goes up in value and so does your earned rewards.

I'm sure we all want a better future for Steem and so casting your upvote here keeps Steem locked to raise it's value for us all plus we will try and use some of that Steem to buy even more. Most of the players in the crypto sphere are only here for some quick and often times shady profits, this is before they decide to just get up and disappear. But we have been here for the long run and would like to see Steem remain a strong and reliable token.

Oct 2024-Bitcoin reached over "70.000" on June 4th and so the high season doesn't seem to be done just yet. But when is it likely to finish? When it falls to 50k? Well 30k would be a good mark, we mention bitcoin because it can be a indication on the direction that Steem will follow. However sadly not a lot of movement from our own token this bullrun, but what this means is that Steem itself is still wide open price wise for the smart and smaller investors👍. Last night I went to sleep under the usual late hour, this was mostly due to having to be up earlier for work. When I did try to sleep there wasn't any difficulty. I woke-up however 2 hour to my scheduled alarm, the alarm was set for a little earlier because of work. I don't know why I was awake so early, perhaps I had anxiety of missing work or my mind was too busy to sleep. Most mornings I have been resting past the alarm as I'm still tired, because usually I'm not going to sleep early enough and this morning it felt the same. For the weather this morning it was surprisingly bright, we had a relatively clear sky with decent sunshine. Temperature wise I'm glad to feel it's being mostly comfortable. However I think it's the cooler temperature that is making waking-up more difficult. It was a good start time for the morning but there was no time to enjoy it or get anything done, it was straight to work. But I also really need to be working right now to start earning some much needed money to combat all the costs of birthdays, events and some of the costs from having my father over. I also wanted to see if I could get some more Steem, it's been a while since having the opportunity to do so even with having days off it was not possible because I was either travelling or dealing with my father. Unfortunately I'm dealing with the same crap I was having before I went travelling which is sellers not respecting your time or even you as a customer. But the other day I finally got some responses from the sellers who apparently for the moment they are not able to make certain trades due to some liquation issues. This was their reason for the terrible service lately, but at least I got a response and even got them to tell me when they expect to be running again. They told me it was estimated in about 1 week I should be able to trade with them. I guess I should be ok to wait yet another week.. With my free time up I had a quick small breakfast, got my bag set for work, changed and left. On the way to work I took the rubbish with me to dispose, tomorrow there should be more. When I got to work it was honestly beginning to feel more like a construction site which they did warn us would happen but I admit I didn't exactly expect it to be this bad. I think this is likely why they got me in earlier because they gave most of the other staff the morning off to avoid much of this nonsense. While I admit the workers annoyed me for most of my shift but I think I have to say it was our own staff that we had in that were annoying me even more. They basically wanted things done but were always in the way and wanting me out of the way so they could do what they needed. The superiors had all staff in a tiny area which was not necessary and it was driving me mad. One of them also wanted the impossible from me, it always amazes me how these people tell you to do things that are practically impossible yet it doesn't seem to cross their mind. My boss turned up later to pretend like he as any choice in the matter of how the builders set the place up. Already heard whispers that he's boss will be in next week to pretend that he as any authority over how the builders do things. I was glad to get out of there was feeling tired not so much because of the long shift but just the nonsense they had be doing. I was glad to see and still kind of expected to not be dealing with any financial stuff this shift, likely this won't happen yet for the next few weeks and if I'm really lucky until next year. Regardless I'm happy to have one more shift on my floor. On the way home the weather was still decent so I took my time getting there in hopes the fresh air would make me feel better. As for the quick work-outs I think I will purposely skip a day or 2 as I don't want to over do it. I met with friends online where half turned up as expected but I heard from the others who said they maybe online tomorrow with extras. Lastly I started to prepared dinner, checked to see if my father had sent anything and then I settled-in for the night. As for Steemit.com 📊 Week 6 of Season 20 for the Steemit Engagement Challenge begins with a increased number of teaching teams and challenges. I was also shocked the other day to discover that without warning my TRX wallet on Steemit.com had just disappeared, and this was a long with all the funds I had in there. I learnt later that the TRX distribution code has been removed from the wallet by the Steemit developers. This was part of the condenser project to fix all the wrong display numbers from the rewards "which I'm glad was fixed" but I think removing the TRX wallet from the SteemitWallet is downscaling the usefulness of the SteemitWallet as a whole. After panicking for a bit I assumed that perhaps the only way to recover the funds is to make a new tron account with TronLink and then if possible adding the Steem generated TRX account to that newly created account. This already seems confirmed by others but regardless I still think we should keep the TRX wallet functional, well I guess this is not the type of post for such a long discussion on the topic but I do think it's important to repeat it because some users are going to be wondering what the hell is going on. Also if you agree with me write to them here asking to for the return the TRX Wallet on Steemit TRXWallet. Onwards there as been mostly promises of war happening everywhere, such a war in this day and age will be devastating and so we must continue to work on remaining at peace and not to fight in wars that don't belong to us.
