Good day Steemian and welcome, this is more than just a price update on the Steem cryptocurrency for 27/10/2024, under the hood it's been a 8 year project.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content, plus I have attended many Steem official events and represented Steem at smaller events.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price and recent Steemit changes for over 8 years.

There as never been a single power down made on this account since that time "8 years", our mission is to retain and rise the price of Steem for the benefit of us all. We do this by not only holding STEEM but by also buying into STEEM from time to time. All this rises the price of STEEM meaning your investment goes up in value and so does your earned rewards.

I'm sure we all want a better future for Steem and so casting your upvote here keeps Steem locked to raise it's value for us all plus we will try and use some of that Steem to buy even more. Most of the players in the crypto sphere are only here for some quick and often times shady profits, this is before they decide to just get up and disappear. But we have been here for the long run and would like to see Steem remain a strong and reliable token.

Oct 2024-Bitcoin reached over "70.000" on June 4th and so the high season doesn't seem to be done just yet. But when is it likely to finish? When it falls to 50k? Well 30k would be a good mark, we mention bitcoin because it can be a indication on the direction that Steem will follow. However sadly not a lot of movement from our own token this bullrun, but what this means is that Steem itself is still wide open price wise for the smart and smaller investors👍. Last night I went to sleep way past the usual late hour, this was mostly due to catching up with things that I had missed doing for the day as I was out with friends at the event. Also before finishing for the night I had to do some planning for what was being attended at the event tomorrow. When I did try to sleep there was some difficulty, because it was cold and I could feel myself getting unwell. I woke-up 1 hour and a half to my scheduled alarm, this was a little annoying considering I needed as much rest as possible for the day ahead. However I was also very tired from the long day I just had and luckily this helped me sleep. The alarm was set for in-between the hours I usually start, this is to try and help me get my sleeping routine back on track. Most mornings I have been resting past the alarm as I'm still tired, because usually I'm not going to sleep early enough. But due to a time chance I got a decent amount of sleep to hopefully get me through the day. There was no time to rest any longer if I wanted to get anything done at all, because soon I had to meet with friends to start heading towards the event. Unfortunately even this didn't go according to plan as yet again my friend decided to reach our meeting spot nearly 1 hour early. This means I had to quickly start getting ready to meet because if not there would be a strong possibility they would turn up knocking at my house making it more difficult to get ready on time. For the weather this morning it was surprising to see it being mostly sunny with a very clear sky it was bright and even hot if under the sun. Temperature wise I'm glad it returned to being just about comfortable as it was initially cold until the sun starting to be more present. I think it's the cooler temperature in general that is making waking-up more difficult. It was still a good start time this morning, but not great for getting on with a few basic chores due to early show friends haha. However I had today off for a particular reason for the event day 2. But I do really need to be working right now to be earning some much needed money to combat all the cost of birthdays, events and some of the costs from having had my father over visiting. I also wanted recently to see if I could get some more Steem, it's been a while since having the opportunity to fund our token. But I was dealing with the same crap from before my travels, however the other day I got some responses from the sellers who for the moment were having some liquidation issues. I managed at least to eventually get information from them it was estimated to be sorted in about 1 week. This will have passed by tomorrow so if I get the free time I will try my luck again. When I got to work last time I mentioned how it was honestly beginning to feel more like a construction site which they did warn us would happen. I admit I didn't exactly expect it to be that bad but was glad it was improved by a lot. Working those last day before the event was uncomfortable as "our own staff" wanted certain things done but were always in the way or if not they wanted me out of the way yes this is "when I was trying to do what they had just requested of me"! This was the fault of the superiors as they had all us staff working jobs in one tiny area which was not necessary and it was driving me mad. Later however what caught me off guard was suddenly the bosses of my "boss" who were suppose to only turn up next week I heard them giving my boss their typical big man speeches about how it would of been better if things were done like this and like that. But it was them in the first place who forced my boss to do all this nonsense and to follow their way of doing things. Most of these people have me so baffled on how they even got their high paying jobs in the first place, they are not smart they just comply very easily. I done what I could to avoid their unsuspected visit, and have been glad to still not be dealing with any financial stuff, likely this won't happen yet for the week and if I'm really lucky until next year😁. Regardless I'm always happy to have one more shift on my floor and so when I return to work I wonder if the builders will be gone. Like yesterday I spent nearly the entire day at the event, on our return we went to a restaurant for our last meal all together when things turned for the worst. We had nearly 15 young boys come into the place who started to cause complete chaos. They were being loud, play fighting to the point that they started getting hold of trays and throwing them around, they were standing on tables, worst of all grabbing and throwing chairs. People were leaving, staff where not doing anything, nobody was calling the police. It was a horrendous experience as they event started throwing food and things around the room at our female friends, they proceeded to call them nasty names, threw food at them and even hot chocolate. We are unfortunately powerless to do much but try to protect them because this young gang is under the legal age meaning when they police turn up if we laid a finger on them it is us that will get arrested not the trouble makers. As for the quick work-outs I decided to not get one done today because I just felt sick and horrible with what had happened to us today. Lastly I started to prepared dinner for the cats, I didn't check to see if my father had sent anything as it was too late, and then I tried to settled-in for the night. As for Steemit.com 📊 the "Community Curators" for November as now opened up it's applications process. I was also shocked to discover that our TRX wallets on Steemit.com have disappeared, and this was a long with all the funds it had in there. I learnt that the TRX distribution code has been removed from the wallet by the Steemit developers. This was part of the condenser project to fix all the wrong display numbers from the rewards "which I'm glad was fixed" but I think removing the TRX wallet from the SteemitWallet is downscaling the usefulness of the SteemitWallet as a whole. I assumed that the only way to recover the funds is to make a new tron account with TronLink and then if possible adding the Steem generated TRX account to that newly created account. This already seems confirmed by others but regardless I still think we should keep the TRX wallet functional, I think it's important to repeat this because some users are going to be wondering what the hell is going on. Also if you agree with me keeping the TRXwallet you can write to them here asking to for the return the TRX Wallet on Steemit TRXWallet. Onwards there as been mostly promises of war happening everywhere, such a war in this day and age will be devastating and so we must continue to work on remaining at peace and not to fight in wars that don't belong to us.
