Good day Steemian and welcome, this is more than just a price update on the Steem cryptocurrency for 28/10/2024, under the hood it's been a 8 year project.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content, plus I have attended many Steem official events and represented Steem at smaller events.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price and recent Steemit changes for over 8 years.

There as never been a single power down made on this account since that time "8 years", our mission is to retain and rise the price of Steem for the benefit of us all. We do this by not only holding STEEM but by also buying into STEEM from time to time. All this rises the price of STEEM meaning your investment goes up in value and so does your earned rewards.

I'm sure we all want a better future for Steem and so casting your upvote here keeps Steem locked to raise it's value for us all plus we will try and use some of that Steem to buy even more. Most of the players in the crypto sphere are only here for some quick and often times shady profits, this is before they decide to just get up and disappear. But we have been here for the long run and would like to see Steem remain a strong and reliable token.

Oct 2024-Bitcoin reached over "70.000" on June 4th and so the high season doesn't seem to be done just yet. But when is it likely to finish? When it falls to 50k? Well 30k would be a good mark, we mention bitcoin because it can be a indication on the direction that Steem will follow. However sadly not a lot of movement from our own token this bullrun, but what this means is that Steem itself is still wide open price wise for the smart and smaller investors👍. Last night I went to sleep just under the usual late hour, this was mostly due to the incident that happened with myself, friends and a vile young gang. When I did try to sleep there was some difficulty, it was cold and I could feel myself getting unwell plus the stress of the incident with the gang. I woke-up 2 hours to my scheduled alarm, this was a little annoying considering I needed as much rest as possible to hopefully kick back this flu trying to get into full swing. The alarm was set for in-between the hours I usually start, this is to try and help me get my sleeping routine back on track. Most mornings I have been resting past the alarm as I'm still tired, because usually I'm not going to sleep early enough. But due to a time chance I got a decent amount of sleep I also went back to sleep again in hopes of feeling better from this flu. Unlike my friends I'm very lucky to not have work to be in for today meaning resting for longer was not much of a problem. However they were at least not feeling unwell like myself which likely means they were better prepared to get started with work. For the weather this morning it was not surprising to see it return to being dark, cloudy and miserable looking, as often I feel that is what this place represents. Temperature wise I'm glad it's returned to being just about comfortable but likely by the evening it will be cold, I think it's the cooler temperature in general is part of what is making waking-up on time a struggle. It was still a decent start time this morning but not great for getting on with a few basic chores due to just how many things there are to get done. But I do really need to be working right now to be earning some much needed money to combat all the cost of birthdays, events and from having had my father over visiting. I also wanted recently to see if I could get some more Steem, it's been a while since having the opportunity to fund our token. But I was dealing with the same crap from before my travels, however I got some responses from the sellers who are having some liquidation issues. I managed at least get information from them that its estimated to be fixed in about 1 week. This means today if I get the free time I will try my luck again. When I got to work last time I mentioned how it was honestly beginning to feel like a real construction site which they did warn us would happen. But have been glad to still not be dealing with any financial stuff, likely this won't happen yet for the week and if I'm really lucky until next year😁. Regardless I'm always happy to have one more shift on my floor and so when I return to work I wonder if the builders will be now gone. I still feel especially bad for my friend today who was having a interview this morning after the nonsense that went down last night. Like the previous day we spent nearly the entire time at the event, on our return we went to a restaurant for our last meal together before we all return to our normal lives. It was at that point when things turned for the worst, we had nearly 15 young boys walk into the place who started to cause complete chaos. Initially they were just being loud, it turned into play fighting, and this continued to the point that they started getting hold of trays and throwing them around, bits of sharp plastics were flying around, they were standing on tables, and worst of all grabbing and throwing chairs around. People were leaving, staff where not doing anything, nobody was calling the police. They got outside the restaurant continuing to throw chairs which one hit a car of a elderly woman. Still it seems staff done nothing until the elderly woman came out of the car to complain to staff about her car. It was a horrendous experience as they event started throwing food and things around the room at our female friends, they proceeded to call them nasty names, they threw food at them and even hot chocolate. We are unfortunately powerless to do much else but try to protect them, see because this young gang are all under the legal age it means that when the police did turn up if we had laid a finger on any of them it would be us that will get arrested and not the trouble makers. This way of life comes down to our dear government in which pay taxes to only to receive no protection. But the part that makes me even more sick is that when the police did finally arrive, sure there was 2 police cars and a van and the gang ran to another building which all looked promising. But honestly the police were there no longer than 10 minutes before they all left again, and minutes later some of those from the gang returned back into the restaurant. I don't know if they continued to cause chaos at the restaurant as by this time my friends had thankfully escaped in taxis and I watched from afar. I hate living in such a dangerous area, there are hundreds of reports per day and if I'm lucky enough to one day be earning enough Steem I want to get out of here! I had no intentions of tonight getting on call with friends but it seems some of them still wanted to and so I made a appearance where half of them turned up. As for the quick work-outs I decided to not get one done today because I was feeling unwell for this flu plus I think I still felt a little sick with what had happened to us yesterday. Lastly I started to prepared dinner, checked to see if my father had sent anything, and then I settled-in for the night. As for Steemit.com 📊 the "Community Curators" for November as now opened up it's applications process. I was also shocked to discover that our TRX wallets on Steemit.com have disappeared, and this was a long with all the funds it had in there. I learnt that the TRX distribution code has been removed from the wallet by the Steemit developers. This was part of the condenser project to fix all the wrong display numbers from the rewards "which I'm glad was fixed" but I think removing the TRX wallet from the SteemitWallet is downscaling the usefulness of the SteemitWallet as a whole. I assumed that the only way to recover the funds is to make a new tron account with TronLink and then if possible adding the Steem generated TRX account to that newly created account. This already seems confirmed by others but regardless I still think we should keep the TRX wallet functional, I think it's important to repeat this because some users are going to be wondering what the hell is going on. Also if you agree with me keeping the TRXwallet you can write to them here asking to for the return the TRX Wallet on Steemit TRXWallet. Onwards there as been mostly promises of war happening everywhere, such a war in this day and age will be devastating and so we must continue to work on remaining at peace and not to fight in wars that don't belong to us.
