Good day Steemian and welcome, this is more than just a price update on the Steem cryptocurrency for 5/3/2025, under the hood it's been a 8 year project.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content, plus I have attended many Steem official events and represented Steem at smaller events.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price and recent Steemit changes for over 8 years.

There as never been a single power down made on this account since that time "8 years", our mission is to retain and rise the price of Steem for the benefit of us all. We do this by not only holding STEEM but by also buying into STEEM from time to time. All this rises the price of STEEM meaning your investment goes up in value and so does your earned rewards.

I'm sure we all want a better future for Steem and so casting your upvote here keeps Steem locked to raise it's value for us all plus we will try and use some of that Steem to buy even more. Most of the players in the crypto sphere are only here for some quick and often times shady profits, this is before they decide to just get up and disappear. But we have been here for the long run and would like to see Steem remain a strong and reliable token.

Feb 2025- Bitcoin reached over "108.000" on Jan 20th and so the bull season doesn't seem to be done just yet. We mention bitcoin because it can be a indication on the direction that Steem will follow. But sadly there's not been a lot of movement from our own token this bullrun, but what this means is that Steem itself is still wide open price wise for the smart and smaller investors👍. Last night I went to sleep under the usual late hour, this was mostly due to having work early in the morning, but also being tired from the previous early work shifts. The past few nights are still a later time than what I would want to be asleep by, and while I'm not napping during the day anymore "unless unwell" like now, it's still best to strive for a healthy amount of sleep. When I did try to sleep there was no problem the heating having been on and the milder night helps to fall asleep. I woke-up 20 minutes to my scheduled alarm, which was likely due to getting too hot. Our "cat alarm clock" as been mostly staying indoors the past week, previously he began mewing again during the night which is not good for me with the early shifts. But so far this week he as remained quiet for the entire night and when he does go out he's not getting into as many fights. These early mornings are usually a struggle to wake-up for and this morning was no different. For the weather it was dark, the sky was cloudy, temperature wise it was cold. It was another early start for me, not by choice but because I had to be in work very soon, and so there was no time for chores. With my free time over I skipped breakfast, got my bag set for work, I changed and left. On the way to work it continued to quickly get brighter, not sure if I'm missing the sun rise now or not due to the clouds, however what I didn't like was how cold it remained, traffic was very busy. When I got to work it was the superior who I like the least working with this morning. The colleague who set's up task2 with my superior was also already there and they were both working on getting it set for me, seems they wasted no time this morning. Because we are doing the "first to arrive" type of shifts I begin by checking the fire doors every morning, next I get started with tasks1 out of 3, sometimes this can be up to 4 on Sundays. For task1 there was pitiful amount of work to be done which I enjoyed very much but of course this is bad for business. I took things easy but still completed task1 with much time to spare. Checking over the system task2 was just over the usual amount which I guess would balance things out a bit. Or so I thought, I was getting through task2 way too quickly so went to get a hot drink and took things easy. Without rushing at all this put me 3 minutes over the time I should of had it completed by which was not a problem. I moved to task3 I was not worried at all but I should of been because lately it's thrown some surprises, however this time it was also a pitiful amount. Without rushing I was still left with plenty of spare time. I checked to see if I had any pointless weekly tasks to get done and my goodness I can't believe that I still continued to not have any. I heard the superior complaining about people not getting their weekly tasks done or that some were being signed without actually doing the work, that made me laugh because many have been doing that for the longest time and the superiors were to also just signing that they had checked the work. Always double standards with these people. I can say it was a good shift I still felt a bit unwell, so I was glad when it came time for me to escape work😁. On the way home it was much brighter but temperatures remained very cold which was a shame, the sun was out and I wanted to get enjoy it a bit more but it was just too cold. Once I arrived home I got started with chores, I want to continue with the kitchen, fighting some of the mold trying to settle on the walls. Unfortunately there was again not the time for doing these things, mostly because like previous days since getting this flu "for real now" I spent most of my time resting, it was very broken rest. For the quick work-outs it's been 87 days since my last one but it's going to have to keep waiting longer because of what I think is the flu continually trying to take over. Lastly I started to prepare dinner, then I settled in for the night. On Steemit.com 📊 the Community Curators Application application for March is now open, also the tag #curatorapplication is great for those wanting to build games and apps with Steem. TRX wallets on Steemit.com have been removed by the Steemit Developers a long with any funds. This was part of the condenser project to fix all the wrong display numbers from rewards. I think removing the TRX wallet is downscaling the usefulness of the SteemitWallet and the Steem token as a whole. You can recover any funds by creating a new tron account with TronLink and then adding the Steem generated TRX account to that newly created account. I still think we should of kept the TRX wallet functional if you agree on keeping the TRXwallet you can write to them here asking for it's return TRXWallet. Reminder: There as been promises of war arising everywhere, a war in this day and age will be devastating, so we must continue to work on remaining at peace, and not to fight in wars that don't belong to us.
