Good day Steemian and welcome, this is more than just a price update on the Steem cryptocurrency for 8/8/2024, under the hood it's been a 7 year project.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content, plus I have attended many Steem official events and represented Steem at smaller events.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price and recent Steemit changes for over 7 years.

There as never been a single power down made on this account since that time "7 years", our mission is to retain and rise the price of Steem for the benefit of us all. We do this by not only holding STEEM but by also buying into STEEM from time to time. All this rises the price of STEEM meaning your investment goes up in value and so does your earned rewards.

I'm sure we all want a better future for Steem and so casting your upvote here keeps Steem locked to raise it's value for us all. Most of the players in the crypto sphere are only here for some quick and shady profits before they just decide to get up and disappear but we have been here for the long run and would like to see Steem remained a strong and reliable token.

August 2024-Bitcoin reached over "70.000" again on June 4th and so the high season isn't done just yet. Likely you have witnessed the many bearish traps for investors to try and navigate this season. And so who knows when the bullrun will be truly over, I mention bitcoin because it can be a indication on the direction that Steem will follow. However not a lot of movement from our own token this time round compared to previous years which is very sad. Perhaps we have to be more patient as we wait on another possible alt coin season, but what this means for now is that Steem itself is still wide open price wise for the smart and smaller investors👍. Last night I went to sleep way past the usual late hour, this is a shame as the earlier shifts have been helping me not do this lately. It was mostly because of getting distracted watching some videos in hopes of clearing up some space. When I did try to reach slumber there wasn't much difficulty it wasn't even a little hot. Once sleeping I woke-up only to my scheduled alarm which is what I want, the alarm was set for a little earlier than usual as this is to try and force myself to still try and improve my routine. Still I rested way past the alarm which didn't surprise me, yup there was some difficulty starting today haha. As for the weather this morning it continued similar to yesterday the sky was mostly cloudy but not to the point that it was looking miserable, usually later those clouds will start shifting away and the sunshine will return. Temperature wise sure it was cooler compared to previous days, the heat was at a point that's it was comfortable. Since I only had work later the late start to the day was not much of a problem, but I hoped to finally do some catching-up with chores as these have been almost impossible lately due to work shifts. As for the stuff for my father he as instead finally given my sister a job to do but likely that will get passed back on to me. I got some things done but still under for what I hoped. When my free time was up I had a quick small breakfast, before leaving I changed, got my bag set and then myself ready for work. On the way to work it almost looked like there was a possibility it may rain, I had put on the extra layer which was the right choice until I was at work. Arriving to work everything seemed normal until I realised I had people missing and nobody had warned me of this and so I was doing things on my own until one of the superiors started to help. Which was the right thing to do as I don't see why initially when I arrived they were not doing any cover work. Once things were back to normal I looked into doing the weekly tasks, I already done one thanks to a colleague on the previous shift and so had one more to get done which I didn't expect to complete. And this was the correct guess because later I had to do more cover work which was annoying and it went on for longer than I expected. It also started to get very hot there, and thanks to so much cover work when I left only 50% of the task was completed. When I left work I decided to go the gym way again and honestly what a mistake. It seemed like all the crazy people were out tonight. It started with a guy who was randomly in the middle of the car park stopping me and saying he needs help and it's embarrassing. While looking at he's trousers he says he just got attacked by some people and he needs me to go and buy him a new pair of trousers "why trousers I don't know" and while he says this he lights up a cigarette. While this is happening another man also starts to approach asking the guy for a cigarette, I'm sorry but this whole thing sounded and looked very suspicious so I quickly ejected myself out of the situation. But before I did leave him I suggested for him to explain what happened to the nearby stores security people and that they would help him. As I was heading out of the first car park I noticed the second man was perhaps following me. I headed into the other car park in hope he would stop following, which he did. But just as I was heading out I remembered I needed to get some cash out "argh😒" of course as I go towards the cash machine a group of young thugs come out of nowhere and go to the machines. I noticed a old man walking past also suspicious of the group and so I waited. Once they left I was finally able to lift out money but the machines had changed from when I last used them and for some reason it takes longer now with more steps argh😡!. On the way home one of the few cars that passed me had some weird guy grinning, smiling and popbing he's head while constantly looking back at me, I'm thinking who the hell is this dude!? Then lastly nearly home some guy also in a car going past lowers he's window to give me a dirty dead eyes look!? Seriously all the weirdos are out!!? Once home I just wanted to relax plus it was too late to be getting many chores done so after I started to prepared dinner before settling in for the night. As for Steemit.com 📊 like I mentioned before there was some progress on updating the look of the Steemit.com website to something more "modern". I was very worried about this but the changes aren't anything drastic You can now experience this yourself and may have noticed already the changes. For me personally I feel like it helps certain things stand out more, however I still feel like navigation could be improved. Onwards there as been mostly promises of war happening everywhere, more countries are slowly getting and warning their citizens to prepare for war. Such a war in this day and age will be devastating and so we must continue to work to remain at peace and not fight in wars that don't belong to us. Before we finish I would like to ask if anybody can recommend any website to watch movies or series for free without a VPN or a download site, a upvote will be sent if it's good.
