Thanks for the note on that. I assume this is accurate but it would be even more helpful if confirmed by someone from Steemit.

Downvoting a post can decrease pending rewards and make it less visible. Common reasons:

  • Disagreement on rewards
  • Fraud or plagiarism
  • Hate speech or trolling
  • Miscategorized content or spam

    I am the Community Liaison for Steemit Inc. and I can confirm that the information in this article is 100% false. Bandwidth has nothing to do with rewards.
