I completely agree. One can tell a re-post right away. I'm new to steemit and have vowed to only post content I've created. If the community only rewards original, non-plagiarized content, the spam re-posters will be discouraged which is a very, very good thing. I like your writing, upvoted and following you! Downvoting a post can decrease pending rewards and make it less visible. Common reasons:

  • Disagreement on rewards
  • Fraud or plagiarism
  • Hate speech or trolling
  • Miscategorized content or spam
