It has been reported on the Oh, How Pinteresting! blog that Pinterest has now passed 200 million active members
As of today, more than 200 million people use Pinterest every month. That’s two hundred million people discovering new ideas and trying them in their real lives, from Salt Lake City to Rio to Tokyo. We’ve grown nearly 40 percent since last year, and more than half of all Pinners live outside the U.S.—if Pinland were a country, it’d be the 7th largest in the world!
Evan Sharp went on to announce that Pinterest would be launching the most requested member feature, Board Sections or if you like Boards within Boards.
Its all looking very bright over at Pinterest, the jump in members marks a 40% rise on last year, so very impressive
