Binance listed GRS and not SBD

Today Binance listed Groestlcoin (GRS) on their exchange

check.png

We here at Steemit want to have SBD listed on Binance and yet time-and-again, Binance continues to list brand new obscure coins. Binance already has STEEM listed and yet Steemians cannot take their SBD that they have earned to Binance exchange. Binance is loosing money by not making SBD available for exchange. Steemians must take their SBD elsewhere to exchange it.

Groestlcoin is reportedly fast and with almost ZERO fees. Hey Binance, guess what:

SBD, like STEEM has the following benefits

  • High Capacity
  • High Speed
  • Massive User Base
  • No fees

Also, SBD has the potential to become a replacement for Tether.

    I've never heard of Groestlcoin before. SBD may not be a well known currency, but it is highly circulated and has a huge community using it. Binance really should list SBD

    Hi @socky I totally agree with you and support your campaign. I do not understand what goes through Binance's mind to not include either SBD or Steem. Egoism, Meekness, Mistrust or Prejudice? Or all the previous ones?

    Hi @socky, is it possible the exchange or steemit doesn't want to list SBD as here we're an internal market where you can exchange your SBD to Steem without fees. It also seems having enough liquidity. How an exchange is going to compete with 0 fees ? just my two cents.

    Two nights ago the Korean exchange Upbit performed over $100 Mollion dollars worth of SBD transactions in 24 hours. That is a clear sign that there is a need to have SBD listed on other exchanges. Binance is loosing out on profiting on that volume.

    Also, limiting options for Steemians is bad. Give the example of the other night when SBD shot up over 100%. There were a bunch of Steemians trying to sell SBD, but we didn’t get a good exchange rate as SBD was flooding the local market.

    Yeah, I went there to check it out the other night when the pump was going on and soon realized that I would need to read Korean to use the exchange. Very limiting to us Steemians that don’t read Korean.

            My theory is that Binance is supporting Yoyow, a Chinese version of Steemit. By not listing SBD, Binance gives Yoyow a competitive edge.
