This is steemit. What you make of it will be all that it will be. Anarchy at its finest.

Put money in and you will get money out.

I;ve seen all type of shit happen here since the summer of 2016.
120,000 people sign up and only 1,200 stuck around. Something is not right. Thats business.

thats barely 10% which = failed experiment. Good idea. And I hope my 3,000 steempower rises value truly, so i can sell out.]]

Yea. tonight i have lost faith in steemit. it always wavered but now I know why. and I don't blame those who left.

I use to despise them but now i wish I had joined them. I truly hope the value rises so I can sell out. Even if i sell at half of the "average value" in 2 years. yes like chump i will wait.

If you have a good idea to make steem better keep it yourself. Someone higher up will take it from you, get rich, and you will be right where you are, time lost.

Rough night for me. rough future for you to make few a dollars.

I feel your entire post is quite emotionally driven altogether, which is the wrong mindset in investing. I wrote something about exactly this a while back, and it is very important to understand that this project is still in beta mode. It is also a completely new invention that has never been tried before, using an advanced, evolving technology which isn't even mainstream yet.

My steemit problems that lead me to this feeling are irelevent. I love steemit. Really. I believe in the platform, it's solid. I wish the best and hope hope steemit become the guiding light for truth and justice. and i believe it will be one day. I just can't encourage it in the form it is now. I may return in the future. But at the moment it's like quitting your favourite game. In m mind I often refer to myself by my gamer name. Which I bet other gamers feel too. I got over those games too.

I was wavering for a couple months now.

Need to focus on my life goals and steemit detracts me from that.

Chill.... take a rest and come back.
We'll be here.

Is it too soon to give up? It's still a beta and still evolving. The initial Steem price was unrealistic. It's settling down to a more sensible level.

Anyway, you will be able to power down in 3 months from next week. I've no idea how the price will change in that time, but it's going to be interesting to see.

i was never here for the money or the fame.

Could make more money working at McDonalds for the time i put in. Could have made more friends focusing on twitter.

1,200 people. seriously? Is this a good place to make a difference?

Be happy no one looks at steemit as a guiding light.

Hey if you put money in last month you might make some money this month, a few pennies.

I lost faith in steemit today. Someday, maybe you too but I hope not. I really want Steemit to be a success so I can sell out and make maybe a couple hundred bucks for the hundreds (literally hundreds) of hours i put i since the summer.

I really believed in this platform. Than I became victim.

So lost here. Real Life is better.

What did you become a victim of, if one may ask?

Before you go, can I add you on Skype or get an e-mail address? It'd be cool to stay in touch with you, man. Let me know on steemit.chat :)

What happened / changed? I have always enjoyed reading your posts, and am sad to see you go.

I am really sad by your message. I always liked your posts and what you were doing here.

If the money and the fame are not the main reasons you are frustrated with, then let's discuss on the chat! It is never too late to step back and change your mind :)
